Thread: Genosian Caves aren't fun for docs anymore! ;(

Well, I had a fun week at the caves but since they "fixed" the spawn rate its just like anyplace else, docs aren't needed because the death rate is too low ;( Everybody is too uber for the caves now, I liked it better when it was "broken" the only ppl that complained were ones who didn't have docs! I'm bored as a doc without a fun place to heal people all the time.


There NEEDS to be hard places so that we can have fun healing people. Everything is too easy in this game now. Nobody needs docs except to buff, pffft.

they seriously changed the cave? that sucks, i thought it was deliberately hard.


I went in as Master Doc, Master TKM, and tried to solo 3 kwis (got my ass handed to me).


I then went in again buffed, and a crazed genosian did 5k damage in 2 seconds on my mind.


Its hard, but damn, thats what made me respect it as a challenge.

What did they change exactly?

It was still the same when I went there last night. Only place where I actually get to rez people!

the spawn rates have been lowered drastically, it used to be, when it first opened, that there would be about a million geos in the main entranc, just handinging to to everyone but a well armoured few. then they lowered the spawn rates, now u can just about walk past that first room...


i dont know if more spawn in when u run out still, u could always be a cretin and cause corpses that way

Not entirely true.

The front area actually spawned new guys whenever anyone walked past. They eventually built up to huge unkillable numbers.

The way it is now, would be the way it would be right after a server reset.. .but every time anyone came by, or got killed their spawns would stay, then you woule come by and some new ones woudl spawn for you, and there would be , 6, 16, or 943 of them there.

DIfficulty in the end game is a prime concern of te devs.. they are aware how easy the end game is. Expect it to get harder over time.. dunno how they are gonna manage it without making everyone mad though.

Not to mention things will get harder for a lot of defense stackers that are impervious to most PvE combal when patch 7 is finished. No more 200 melee defense to keep them alive.

All the people using AoE exploits is what it is. The spawn rate is the same to me.

The spawn rate on eclipse was extremely low two nights ago.

Gorath was verrrrry low two nights ago, I was actually bored and only got to buff a couple of people. I moved my doc to tatooine, maybe I can get on with an ill-equipped krayt hunt or something. I want to heal dammit! This game is too damn easy as it is without lowering the spawn rate at the genosian caves by 90% (Or so it seemed).

I was there camping the merc spawn last night. Was still spawning 10 at a time for some interesting fighting.

The cave will be a lot more fun once the AE bug is fixed and the exploiters are punished. Even so though, Docs will not have to do much for well equiped grouped there--at least not near the entrance. For fun healing, work on some Nightsisters or Krayts.


We need a new planet with every critter being over level 50 and all way tougher than we are used to now (like Endor, butwith all the critters using Barry Bonds steroid connection...). Then the need to group and have a good healer would come into play more.

Yes, exactly! We don't have a lot of healing to do in this game unless we go with an ill-equipped group. We need harder content so docs and cm's can do their job! I hadn't rez'd anybody for a month until the G-Cave was published, *sigh* Sucks
