Does armor REALLY affect buffs? The equations say no, experiance says yes.

I personally have seen no difference with armor on or off. I have heard armor makes a difference i have heard it doesnt. *shrug* who knows.

I have no experience buffing with armor on, but while buffing people with armor on I have seen no differance. (I'm a wook so I don't worry about armor.)

I've seen no difference in the level of buffs I've given. The mixed reaction you get from the masses on the issue suggests to me that there is no armor effect though. If you take any large group of doctors, for example, and ask do you give lower buffs on Tuesdays, some small number are going to start noticing the "Tuesday" effect, even though the buff numbers are random...and they just happen to have given several bad buffson that particular day.

With armor, though, there's even more of a reson to perceive such an effect, because wearing armor greatly reduces the effectiveness of buffs (becauseofarmor's impacton secondary stats).

It should be very easy to verify one way or another, in any event, after publish 7, when the high variability of buffs is gone.

The point is, ladies and gentleman, is that "bots" -- for lack of a better word -- are good. Bots are right. Bots work. Bots clarify, cut through, and capture the essence of the SWG spirit. Bots, in all of their forms -- bots for crafting, for killing thugs, for buffing, healing -- have marked the upward surge of mankind and other races. And bots -- you mark my words -- will not only save SWG, but that other malfunctioning corporation called the Empire.
