I was wondering if anyone else was failing while experimenting on thier buffs. I always fail at least once and have faileed up to three times while experimenting on Buff D's. I am a master doctor and I also have a medical crafting apron and always wear it while I am crafting. I always usually craft on a 40+% food and crafting station but I always end up getting one failure no matter what I do. I can only reacall twice that I didn't fail while crafting D's. I only experiment with one point at a time as well. I see people with 900 base buffs and the highest I have gotten so far is 810. I have high quality resources the lowest being in the 800's. So I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem. Becasue it is getting very frustrating and with the new buff system every point counts! If anyone has any suggestions pulease help me!

Experimenting on buffs is prone to failure. Typically it takes me 1.5-2 tries on each schematic to ensure all great successes. This is with an +25 med exp and +15 med assembly clothing mods. Prior to the additional assembly I would sometimes need up to 3 tries with each schematic. So some failures are expected, but just keep trying until you get an all "great success" experimenting sequence. How many points to use is personal preference. I use anywhere up to 5 points on each exp session and always on the same bar. Why 5? No reason...just kinda started that way and stuck with it.
I'd be happy to look at your ingredients to let you know what stats are causing your lower results. The following info would be needed:
-How many exp points do you have?
-Bio Effect Controller stats (charges/power)
-Chem Release Dur. Mech stats
-Solid Delivery Shell stats
-Avian Meat (OQ/PE/DR)
-Reactive Gas (OQ/DR)
-Tae

At this point in time, my failure rate on buffs is 48.6%.
I have been keeping a running total since I started. Have over 800 buffs packs created since I started keeping tally. And almost 400 of those were failures somewhere in the creation. Been a master Doc for a very long time, and this is my success rate with buff D packs.

I get a much lower failure rate using my 110 medical/crating droid for making D packs than a +44 station! Very counter intuitive but it's true. Used to be I'd factor in around 12 tries to get a set of all great successes next to a station, now usually only one or maybe two fails. This was all pre-publish 7. Never experiment more than three blobs at once (4 or more and the failures go right up, despite anything reading 0%), less than three I figure it'd be too many chances to fail (and quite laborious). This is from making a lot of packs.

Try finding a city that is a research center, it really does help. Also I always craft by a droid, might just be me but Im pretty sure crafting goes better. Last but least, when Im making scematics for buffs, I always experiment 2 points then another2 points into effectiveness withthe rest singles. That seems to me the best way to get buffs up to max effectiveness.

Thats why you should buy a factory and make them in crates. YOu just have to get it right ONE TIME and boom, you can make as many as you want without failing!
