Ok Im getting sick of this... in Theed specificly you damn doctors are all screwed up in the head. I have been denied buffs from three different doctors in Theed since yesterday because I was not Imp or I was not Rebel. What's wrong with being Neutral? Im not into PvP on this game becauseof this kind of crap. Yesterday a chick named Heidi (she was completely rude and her comments were uncalled for) denied me buffs and was a **edit** about it.. She said "grow someballs and choose a side then come back and I'll buff you if your a rebel"People like this make the game frusterating and it spoils the fun for everyone around them. And that is the exact reason I choose to be neutral on this game because of players like that!

Ok I can understand why a rebel will not buff an imperial. If you are a rebel doctor Im not going to go kill rebels with your buffs BECAUSE I AM NEUTRAL!! Why dog the neutral players?!?!? It's not rocket science to see if a player is neutral.

Ok even if you refuse to buff neutral players... fine. Just don't be such an ass about it.

The sad thing is... I would have paid 50k forset of buffs to each of those doctors because latley it's a **edit** to find any doctors. And when you finally findone YES! Ohh wait Im not reb or imp. I Guess I'll go pay my 50k to a good doctor insted. Ohh well your bad.

Sorry to hear that.

If you were on Radiant I would be more than happy to buff ya and I hang around Coronet quite a bit.

Im on Bira server and i cant agree with you more. Doctors are a rarity to find....well no its rare to find a doctor that is actually buffing. There have been accounts where i have seen a doc buffing , and when i asked he says im not buffing today. If it wasnt for two of my guild mates being doctors, i would swear most if not all docs are complete jerks. I honestly would like a doc that denies people buffs to shed some light on why they do.

I am a doctor with a faction-based pricing scheme but I buff 'neutrals' if they do not have anyfactional badges. I buff overts of my faction for free, buff covertsof my factionfor donations, and buff neutrals for 10k. If I suspect the 'neutral' is really a covert of the opposing faction, I refuse to buff them. Sometimes it's hard to tell.

Well if they don't want to buff you - then respect their choice. Honestly I do the same thing sometimes and there is always some **edit** who freaks out on me over MY decision to serve my faction, and only my faction. Plus even if you are nuetral - as far as I know you might be a covert rebel/imperial.

So IF you asked nicely and did not pester the doctor after - then shame on them for being "impolite",BUT if they informed you that they wouldn't buff you AND you then proceeded to go "Awww.. come on it's only a game... what the hell is your problem.. blah.. blah.. blah" (not saying that you did say this, just trying to cover both sides here). Then shame on you for thinking that we doctors are here to serve YOU.

Cheers.

Their the Doctor.

Im sorry to say, but its totally their choice on who to buff and who not to buff. If they are a proponent of one side of the GCW or another, then respect their choice and find someone else.

I have stopped buffing strangers COMPLETELY due to the fact that i have neither the time, or thepatience to deal with many of the rude people out there. Just today I walked through Cnet and saw a guy walk up to a Doctor who was selling buffs, and hada fair line of people waiting. This guy walks up and says, "your whering BE clothes right? I dont want no **edit** 1000 buff." I wanted to walk up and /duel that dumbass, though he probably wouldnt have accepted. Its not like its us Docs that can determine whether its a 1000k buff or a 2800 buff.

Then the guy sits down, and when the doc asks for who was next in line, he says he is, even though there are 2-3 other people who were sitting there already.

Next time you get angry at a Doc, try and remember, we have to put up with just as much, or morerudeness than you.

I hear ya man. I am a doc myself and although there are a shortage of us on Bria, it is still our choice to buff who we want. What people don't understand is that sometimes WE are busy and can't buff right then. Sometimes we just got done buffing for a long time and just want to log off or do something for ourselves. People shouldn't expect us to be their buff slaves whenever they feel the need to send us a tell. I find it quite ridiculous how I am treated sometimes when I refuse to buff someone (not saying all of you do this). I actually became a doc to help people in my guild and my fellow imperials but I still buff rebels and neutrals from time to time. No offense Kobya, but youshouldn't expect people to adhere to whatever your needs are at the moment. Sometimes we have more important things to do and sometimes we just feel like playing the game. Again, I am not trying to flame anyone with this post, just trying to open peoples minds on the situations of most doctors.

Happy Gaming,

I gotta say that I have no problems with a doc serving their faction by refusing or charging a higher price to the opposing faction. I do it myself sometimes. Just as our customers have the choice to be buffed by whoever they want, us docs have the choice to deny service to anyone. I think they key is not to be a punk about it.

I think it adds some realism and RP to the game. I mean this is Star Wars. There is a war. Its the basis and background for the whole star wars mythology. I think everyone should choose a side and serve their faction as they best see fit. You dont have to PVP.

Personally I couldn't care less what side of a faction a player is on. When I'm buffing, I'm doing this just that, buffing. I'm not fighting, I'm not warring, I'm not picking fun at rebels - just buffing. I buff, get money, next person. If they're a rebel, neutral, imperial - all the same to me when I buff.

well, I think it's quite sad, if they want to be faction exclusive docs, then they should go overt and expose themselves for PvP. I think it's "roleplay" to act like that, but if people want to roleplay then better do it fully.

as a doc I'm neutral, I buff everyone except overts cause it won't let me.
my alt is a rebel, but it's my alt, not my doc. so as a doc I don't care who am I buffing/healing unless the guy isn't polite.

Personally, I agree with this. I mean it's true that everyone has their own views and to each their own. That being said... I find it difficult to comprehend how someone can take game-factions so seriously... even for role-playing. Sometimes I think it's because some people have no other outlet for creativity so they choose to express it in game... or that maybe they so desperately wish they really WERE a part of the Star Wars Universe that they do they're best to pretend they ARE in fact a Master Doctor sitting in the middle of an expansive courtyard in downtown Theed. Then... maybe there are some who just don't like buffing opposing factions... who knows. I'm not saying one way is better than the other... but when I buff... I'm buffing you primarily for MY benefit... not the faction you are in.
