I haven't sold buffs with the pub7 changes, before i charged 6k which was pretty much the standard on flurry. Today i went back to coronet to see if the buff prices had gone up to around 12-15k like most people said they would charge on the forums, however when i asked other docs what they were charging they still said 6k. I would like to know from other flurry docs what you are charging for buffs in coronet.

when i buff for pay i always have and still will charge 10k. my alt is a master chef and makes me +23 bivoli tempari. my buff packs are around 920. i buff all stats between 2400-2600. if i go to coronet and pull out my droid i get more business than i can handle at 10k a pop. people that ask me for my buffs usually dont care about the price. they dont want to wait 30 minutes for a 6k buff for 1800 in each stat. ive never had a problem since i mastered doc, about 3 months ago, with my buff prices. i have charged 10k since day one. it has always amused me that other people charge 6k when they see i am always just as busy as they are and im charging 10k. i rarely even buff in coronet for this very reason. unless im in the mood to make some quick money i turn my tag off when there. xarkuhn is my docs name.

I sense the dark side in you.........

I am on Flurry and buff for cash often. If you want to see a great rant on buffs on flurry check out my thread on the flurry trade forum that is title "Is 20k to much to pay for a buff". You will learn a lot. Very good dialog.

Look at the demand and look at what other things go for with similar demand (brandy, armor, weapons, etc). For things that take high quality resouces figure out how much cpu is going into these things. Now since a doc has to stand there an administer the item add a lot more becuse the true cost of anything in a game is TIME. Docs are forced to give up a lot of play time to buff for cash.

When I do all this my feel for the price of buffs on Flurry is about 10k a set is the fair market value. I can sit in Coronet all day and charge 10k and never be without buffies. This makes me think that is what the economy can support.

I fully believe every crafter sets thier own price for thier items. So charge what you like. You asked for my take on it and its over 8k and under 12k. Of course you can always get a uber player to pay 20k and you can always give a fee buff to a newbie.

When buffing for cash my best advise is start high and drop your price as the line thens out. You can catch all the uber players that want there buff fast and are willing to pay for it and then catch the little fish. Think of it as an auction.

It is all up to you. I like to play around with the price just to see what happens. It makes the game a little more fun.
