IMO master docs should be able to make bacta. It was a major healing ingrediant in the actual Star Wars and would be very usefull here. What it could do is heal all wounds and status things. Docs could make this in crates as well and sell them like food or spice. Post your ideas.

Sweet. I am for it. I have been trying to think of a way to give people the power of medic/doctor without the skill points for a while.

Actually, if you droup a woundpack (other than strength or stamina) they look like bacta tanks. As for selling bacta for people to use on themselves, it would take all usefulness away from medics and turn doctors into nothing but buff bots and bacta crafters. Wound healing needs to stay in the realm of the healing professions. I actually enjoy my rare opportunities to heal friends of large numbers of wounds. There's nothing like the reaction you get the first time a wounded player sees over 500 wounds get healed in one shot.

Well at the very least it should have been included as a component to medical crafting.

But bacta tanks and the Fx-7 medical droid would make things more star warsy and maybe bring some use back to hospitals.

Hmmm. The replys about the cut down of the medic proffesion gave me another idea. What about putting bacta tanks in hospitals that work? There are many times when I can't get a medic to attend because there are many other people in the center. It would give people the ability to either get healed by medics or get into the bacta. It would only allow one person at a time and so there arn't any noobs just sitting in there it automaticly kicks the person out after they are fully healed and wont even let you in if you have no wounds. Just a thought.

HUM, how about making those bacta tanks available to and crafted only by master doctors. Let them act like a vendor thing, the master doctor with ownership of the tank gets to set the access fee on it. There by gaining income. To further complicate it, you could have an imput hopper for the medical packs or "bacta" for the tank to use. It could go so far as to even require power and maintenance lol. It would only be able to be placed in public player structures like a vendor or in player city hospitals where the doctor is on admin. Now, that would be the typical complexity that currently haunts docs now. There is nothing easy about being a doctor.

I was about to post almost the exact same thing. make it so Doc can make and place bacta tanks but only in player hospitals, chargeno less the say 10 cpwoundhealed, diferent quality bacta tanks wound heal at diferent rates, only Docs at a certin level would be able to place/have them. you would have to pay metinance and input bacta into a hopper just like power. there was somthing else but I forgot it.

Mmm, yeah, full length/ automated bacta tanks sure would be another draw towards player hospitals...

ok. like other said, if bacta was implemented, it shouldnt' take away from the functunality of doctors/medics in any way/shape/form...but seriously, what is a star wars game (in which they are trying so hard to increase the star wars imersion) without bacta....it just seems lately that this is just another mmo....i dont feel as if i am in the star wars galaxy at all...so why play this instead of other games /end rant
