Yep, these people need to be beat in the head with a blunt object. If I refuse to buff you , it might be because I hae other things to do, I am not obligated to help you in any way. IF a doc wants to buff, you will see him or her out in the open with a med droid out spaming prices. If you want me to use my stim pack E's on you little 5 stamina wound , then no, you need to buy your own wound packs and / or get novice medic. If you are poisoned and diseased with a solid black health bar and you ask politely and offer a few credits, then you are in need of a doctor.

I was the laughing stock of my guild, because ANY time someone wanted to trade with me - this was my response: "er, hold on, let me make some room" and to do thisI had to destroy something I was already carrying.

Don't blame us for AFK tumblemonkeys. Blame SOE and their great idea of holocrons. For that matter, take up novice medic and get yourself some basic woundpaks - physician HEAL THYSELF.

You don't know what that other doctor was doing, don't presume he had nothing better going on. Half of my time online is messaging all the other doctors I know, trying to keep up with what harvesters I should have on what planet. The other half of my time is messaging my guild, trying to find out where they are hunting and what meat/hide spawn is the best atm.. both for myself and for my doctor friends. Somewhere in there, I need to actually go to my factories, make/load schematics, hunt with my guild and provide healing/buffing for them, deal with longtime friends who message me for buffs even though I don't do them for the general public anymore. Then along comes Joe Noob Ubertemplate 4 fux sake heal me please spamming my /tell window... or the guy who saw me buff myself and instantly have his whole hunting party message me for buffs "real quick before the shuttle leaves" and "OMG 15k that's WAY too much!"

I'm not excusing the actions of the doctor's you dealt with, just trying to let you see it from our perspective.

All I can say friend is give it upand don't loose any sleep over it. It has been my experience that people on these forums care only about one thing.Themselves, and to hell with everyone else.I have never seen a game's forums with more unreasonable people.And it seems that the doctor thread is the worst. (I know I'll get it for that one)

Even if your complaints andaruments are completely sound and you areright, peoplewilltake every word you say apart and turn it around on you. It's an art and most people around here seem to have perfected it.

You don't carry woundpaks? Why not? Really, I'm curious. Any novice medic can buy 5 meduse woundpaks fairly cheaply from almost any medvendor or bazaar... at least for the wounds you would take from cloning. Secondaries are another matter.

The only thing I would like to add is at least in EQ the other group members understood how expensive it was to keep them buffed and made sure the doctor received some extra cash or the gems from loots.

SWG on the otherhand results in either teammates or other people yelling "I WANT, I WANT, I WANT" at you,but they don't typically even think that reimbursing you. Additionally,group members should contribute to the expense of keeping them buffed/rezzed.

The doctor profession receives so much "bad mouthing" in this game and it is typically from people who want you to stop everything and help them. I play this game for fun also -- not money and not to run around and rez you three planets away -- get a life or become a doctor and understand a bit more!

I play a master doctor on Bria. If I have customers and feel like buffing, well guess who is coming first. I'll even heal their wounds if they chip in an extra 1k for the service, so yes I carry woundpacks.
Here's a hint...a "Master Medic" isn't going to be on the top of my list when I know they take 0% decay in PvP, which nobody forced you into BTW. As mentioned before, even a novice medic can use woundpacks - buy some.
Yes, I pay the same money as you to play this game and the only way it's getting paid every month is IF I am enjoying the game. I'm not a slave or rez/heal monkey for anybody. Just like I am not a slice monkey with my other character.
