Hello all,

I need a bit of help as I've received too many complaints that my prices should be raised. Since both Chefs and Doctors deal with enhancing ones capabilities, I try to keep my prices comparable to those of your profession. Without going into too much detail, my prices are based upon the higher of cost + markup, or the "equivalent doctor enhancement". As I don't wish to disregard the people who suggest I am underselling, I thought to confirm my current base with you.

I realize that the enhancements you deal are currently variable and are about to change, but please do your best to correct my current figure of 240.

240 is the base number I use (and may need to revise) it amounts to the number of buff*minutes that a person receives for each credit spent. That number is based upon a set of 6 buffs of +2000 lasting for a period of 2 hours for a cost of 6k. (6*2000*120/6000 = 240)

hmm... hate to respond to myself, but looking through some of the pricing threads, it seems my critics are right.

I've noticed a few points where my numbers were off, and noticed 3 major themes playing.

First - the average time seems to be 3 hours, not 2 hours. adjusting for that, and looking at the pricing schemes that were listed, I come up with the following:

Pricing 1 credit per point of enhancement:

x*180/x = 180

Pricing 10k for a complete set of 6:

6*2000*180/10000 = 216

Pricing 12k for a complete set of 6:

6*2000*180/12000 = 180

so - I should use 180 as my base, I assume? (seems the most popular pricing strategies)

The price for a full set of buffs varies by server and even by location. One server will charge 12k in coronet and 20k on Dathomir and another server might charge 6k for either location. On my server buffs sell for 6-8k in just about any location.

The duration is usually 3 - 3.5 hours.

Thank you for the response. I finally got a chance to "run the numbers" and given the adjusted stack of 18, and the 180 base from above, a crate works out to 113, still reasonable, and a little more inline with the market.
