Thread: Q: Med Crates before/after Pub7

My question is the one.
If one was to create several crates of 900 base enhance packs pre-pub 7, what happens to the pack if it's pulled from the crate post-pub 7?
If one was to create several crates of 400 base Stim B's pre-pub 7, what happens to the Stim B if it's pulled from the crate post-pub 7?
If one was to create several crates of 150 ALS pre-pub 7, what happens to the ALS if it's pulled from the crate post-pub 7?
I do remember Thunderheart mentioning that when an item is pulled from a crate it's instant-crafted.
Will the pre-pub 7 crates be changed if used post pub-7?

Since the change affects only the experimentation process and not the crafting process I strongsly suspect that old items will not be affected by this at all. They should be perfectly fine. (In fact TH was practically recommending that you stock on on pre-publish crates.)

I'm not saying that will definitely be the case, now! I haven't been able to test it or anything, so I don't know for certain. I would say that I think you are 90% safe taking the gamble, though.

Everything I had in crates still works... I had some bad enchance strength D packs that I made 1 crate of (the ones I used on you Z).. so the items are fine.

As opposed to crates what about a pre-pub 7 schematic post-pub 7?

No difference. Same situation. The schematic will have already had the experimentation performed on it, so I don't see how it could get "redone".

After hearing docs on test are not making packs nearly as strong using the same ingredients they had pre-patch, I made crates and enough schematics to burn my current resources up just in case.
At the least, make yourselves some schematics in case we get shafted on the experimentation changes guys.

Can anybody make an educated guess as to when pub. 7might bereleased? One day, one week, one month? I am withholding high quality resource pending a good spawn of herbivore meat which chilastra has not seen for 2-3 months. If the release is imminent then I may have to make do with icky herb.

Educated guess, eh? Well, they never release a publsih on a Weekend, so no worries there. THey haven;t realeased one on a Friday since the problem we had with that WAAAAY back when, now, so that leaves out today, tomorrow and Sunday. So the eariliest possible time would be Monday, but usually they are catching up on stuff from the weekend and seeing what happened on TC on Mondays, so I think that is also unlikely.
So the earliest I would think would be Tuesday of next week. Not sure how "ready for prime time" the patch is right now, though. THat may be all the time they need to fix issues, or they may hold off for another week. Nobody really knows. They do usually announce it at least a day beforehand, and recently they've been better about giving at least 3 days notice.
At a guess I would say not before Thursday of next week, but I've certainly been wrong before.
