So I heard two ways one can usea pet for grinding is by buffing it, and healing wounds. Is that right, and if so, what's the best way to inflict wounds on a pet? CM poisons? Setting le-gurrcat on fire? Help!

Both ways are possible. Best way to wound it is to get a cm disease the action and secondaries, while getting a commando to flame it.

See, I tried getting a commando to flame it. But it just kind of.... incapped and laid there.
