Thread: IDEA about hospitals
Why not make a item called "operating table"
the operating table could be placed in a player hospital. any player that lies down on it would be able to be healed or buffed at a greater rate. IE it gives a bonus of like 130 instead of a med droid 110. this would make it so people would actually use the med center.
I know there is just a /sit command but it would be really nice to see a player beable to lay down on an operating table. the decoration of the player hospital BEGS for a operation table.
What do u all think?
I like the idea.
You know whats funny...they spent all that time making stupid little emotes like /burp, /fart, /flower, /dance (which looks nice, but what is the point?) and the myriad of other emotes, yet they dont have a /laydown, or /use bed command? Come on, when you get incapped you lay on your back, granted this would look funny if they used this animation for /laydown (head off to one side, arms and legs spread in different directions). With so many problem in the game i wouldnt want them taking time out of thier busy schedules to introduce something else that might potentially be bug ridden, but it amazes me the number of emotes and no one even thought "hey, we have these nice beds, lets let people laydown on them"
I like the idea of med centers having higher medical ratings tho, sry for the tangent.
P.S. Why is it when you type /dance with no taget you gracefully (more so than a Dancer with Formal Dance, i might add) dance around, but with a target selected all you get is stupid bubble over the head that says...so and so drags so and so out on the dance floor. Why not have your character walk up, bow, and then the two chars dance gracefully around the area? Sigh...so much to fix, so little time.

Hello all. I was just thinking. player hospitals are sorta useless atm. its only plus 100 and med droid is plus 110. So in a player city or anyother city, you never need a hospital.
Right! It's not the medical centers fault it's the droids fault.
I'm a Master Doctor and I'm calling for a Medical Droid NERF!
All medical Droids should be 50% of a Med center and A HTFB (high tech field base)
Med Centers should be 150 rating HTFB 150 med rating and reg Field base should be 110
The BEST droid would be 75.
If you are a good doctor with good wound medication healing wounds in the field wouldnt be a problem and would give use back to those wound E's.
It would give use back to Camps since they are now 90% useless (tell me why you need one I dare you)
There are a billion player cities and NPC cities you could hand around and buff in.
Entertainers are screwed and anchored to Cantinas why shouldnt we depend more on Med centers for buffing?
Wanna Buff in the field? You better find a Master Ranger.
Why would you then need a 75 max rated medical droid at all then?
To heal field wounds and apply emergency buffs.
(Why do you need a 110 med droid now? So you can buff on the move?)
Entertainers don't get a droid that lets them heal BF on the move....
Why are we so spoiled?
NERF medical droids helps A LOT of people and brings the intended uses back to Camps and Medical centers.
And with the droid invasion coming a droid will get more useful even with this medical nerf.
So it's not gonna hurt DE sales, they will go up regardless and you will still need a droid to heal wounds in the field.
Well I do agree to the others, but Im using my hospital and I have made it clear to everyone that it is there you find me. Actuallymaking my hospital a focuspoint for ppl to come and get healed, buffed, getting their stims or just hang out for some chitchat. Makingmy town a tiny bit more attractive to be in. I havent locked myself into my hospital, but Im trying to be there regular andmaking a habit of doingstuffs like crafting, writing emails or just do stuff not location dependent.
Maybe I should care about thoose stats, but as a mather of fact I only think we doctors know the difference. Lets keep it a secret and tell everyone "you have to come to my hospital for me to work properly". Voilà and you have a living hospital ![]()
