Quick question from a doctor that is new to high end crafting....

Some of our products require items to be in factory crates (say 2 or 3). From what I understand, Factories produce quantities of 25/crate. Is there a way to limit production so that only 2 or 3 (say Bio Effect Controllers) are in each crate. Sorry if these seems like a stupid question but I want to know the details before I set my 1st factory run.

Thanks for any advice,

Factory crates for meds come in 50.

You can limit a factory run simply by selecting the number of items in the schematic screen. Although, why would you want it to only run off a crate of 3?

Well perhaps I am wrong but the requirements for completing a stim-E call for 2 of an item in a factory crate. Does that mean that you have to use a crate with 2 of said item or does it simply mean that those 2 items must come from a factory crate?

All it means is that it needs say, 2 of identical CRDM (which means they must be factory produced in order to have the same aka identical serial number.)...if you have a factory run of 50, 100, or even 1000 (max on schematic), then if you try making a stim E by hand and take 2 CRDMs from the crate of 50 you might have, it would accept it and just have 48 CRDMs left for you to use.

Hopefully that answers your question.
