Thread: New to doctor and buffing
I'm about half a skill box away from mastering doctor, and I've recently started giving out buffs to people. I haven't gathered all the resources I need, so I've been buying my packs.
I just bought a couple of sets from a vendor, and when I was buffing last night someone pointed out that my action buff was about an hour longer than the other 5 stats. I had assumed the packs I was buying off the vendor would be similar duration and quality. Should I get rid of the action packs I bought and look for good ones that have a similar time? (I'm guessing most people don't like being stuck for an hour waiting for one single stat to drop back)
thanks
The reason for that is most likely because the schematic for the action pack requires less specific resources than the other packs. Due to this, it is easier to get good resources for the action pack than it is for the others.
However, most doctors have found that it's better to use the same resources on action packs to avoid just what you're experiencing - one pack that lasts longer than all others.
Most people find that it's better to give up some power on the pack for the convenience of having them all end at the same time (or close). It's important to know what you're buying - be sure to look at the duration, as well.
