Thread: Master Doc in 1 day?
About halfway through my climb to Master Doctor, on Radiant, I wrote a macro that allowed me to heal a tumbler and craft whatever I wanted at the same time. I thought about it some more and now I'm working on adding a component that allows you to cycle between multiple players to heal multiple tumblers. I think that combined with some fantastic StimD's and at least a 2000 action/health buff per tumbler would allow you to drop your leveling time down to a single days worth of grinding.
Crafting is actually the easiest part, the rest of it is just a matter of time. Without grinding abecs, a simple 32xp Action Woundpack would allow you to average 25,000xp an hour on the low end, about 40,000xp on the high end if you dropped the crafting time to 3sec and didn't miss many. You really only need what, 120,000xp?
For the heals, with an 800+ Stim D's, you could average 500xp on the low end per tumbler every 30 seconds which breaks down to be around 60,000xp an hour, on the low end, without any interuptions and works out to be 300,000xp over 5 hours. Adding a second tumbler in is the key. Considering each tree is 150,000 and 450,000xp for all 3, you could technically grind out 120,000xp an hour with 2 tumblers and finish it in less than 4 hours.
This is just some rough math based on my leveling experiences over the past week. I'll be putting my macro to the test soon on Tempest and if it works as I believe it should, I'll post it here.
So anyways, is this old news?

I don't know about you guys, but I got Doc 0240 as fast as I could and am now just buffing people with my 850-900 power, med use 90 buff packs.
My average buff is 1.9k, that's 950 doc xp per stat, multiply that by six and I get 5.7k xp per person and I make a ton of money at the same time. Not to mention it's fun to talk with people and to actually be doing something while going up doc.
I can't really say how much xp I made in and hour, I had 29k and maxed out to 80k without noticing, I only got up to go learnwound treatment IIIonce I was done buffing.
All in all, I think that's the best way to go. You're not just sitting in some med center macroing away...
PD
btw, I used a +25/25 Doc dress and a 110% droid.
Get 15-20 resuscitation packs ready (28-30 charges each) before you start, then tumble grind to 0400. When you can resuscitate, you make a macro that can kill/resuscitate the person. I did this, and went from 0404 to 4444 in about a half hour... o_o It's cheap to do it this way, but since I was tumble-grinding anyway, it didn't bother me much... :l
I actually never realized you could craft while healing, but I'm pretty sure that once you move onto the kill/resuscitation part you won't be able to craft because of combat. It took me about 4 hours to do the crafting line total, and I was doing it a bit slowly I think. So I'd say it is possible to master Doctor in a single day.
