What combination of crafting kits/stations does a tailor need to use to make the MEDICAL crafting kit. i spent so much money on the schematic and heavy duty leather and this tailor is going to make the wrong one because she dont understand that if you use a different crafting kit you will make one with different stats.

you need a food and chemical crafting tool

whether it comes out as a medical smock or a chef smock is, I believe, totally up to chance.

Wrong. It is not up to chance. The schematic for the chef apron and the doc apron are different. They are both identical even to the point where they need a food/chem crafting tool, although, the chef apron needs a specific food component that differentiates it from the doc apron. There is no chance involved, and I should know, I own one of the med aprons. I was told that the jabba schematic you give the tailor contains 1 schematic that can be changed slightly to suit the customer... ie, add or subtract to make a certain type of apron.

EDIT: Sorry... my apron does +5 Medical Crafting and +5 Medical Experimentation.

My impression is that the schematic will yield either a doctor's apron or a chef's apron when the tailor first "reads" it. After that it's not random, just the first reading is. Feel free to correct me though.

Edit: I have 6 schematics for the apron at home, I'd love to know which ones would turn into doctor's aprons if that's possible.

Like you said, you cant tell whether its a chef or Doc apron until the tailor opens it up. Its random.Take them to a trustworthy tailor along with some F&C tools and see what you get.

A question about the schematic. Is this available to all tailors or do you have to do certain missions to recieve it. And does it indeed increase med experimentation? Thanks

You can tell the difference between themed and food onesif you look at the last ingredient. For chefs it's flora food, for docs it's inorganic.

So 1 schematic handles ALL the different type of aprons? Or is it by chance that it will ask for the resources to make the doctor one?
