Thread: Bio-Engineered Medic Clothing = Better buffs?

I see some people in Coronet, when buffing say they use Bio-Enhanced clothing (which I am guessing makes buffs better) .. does it or does it not? I am grinding doctor on another account and would like to know if it helps at all if I buy a Bio-Enhanced piece of medic clothing. (The one with Injury/Wound Treatment)

When buffing your skill in Wound treatment is taking into account in the formula. So basicly the higher Wound Treatment skill you have the better overall result you will get and therefor having +25 Wound Treatment will increase your buffs somewhat.

I have a few +15 to wound treatment clothing and I don't notice a higher maximum buff. What I do notice is that I get far less low-quality buffs.

So if I'm using one set of buff packs that normally do a 800-2600 point increase in buffs, with the BE clothing I get a 1000-2600 point increase.

I have +90 Wound/Injury Treatment from my BE Clothes, and there isn't a staggering difference between how I used to buff and what I buff now.

What I will say is that the increased skill mod has moved my range up. I no longer buff for less than 1050, and my upper range moved to 3300 using 850 base heal packs. However the buff amounts are still random as ever.

I used medic clothing and my droid and it helps more than it hurts.

Out of what everyone says... Ive hit my highest like 3.3k without be clothes and with be clothes and everything else was completly random ive hit 900 with be clothes and without. I can honestly see no difference even though i do there a +25 hat/Shirt/Pants(just incase hehe had them on we anywayz).

IMO they do work. Course buffs are still random and I figure there's a couple buggy situations too though.

I use it and see my lower range go up. I still hit below 1000 sometimes with 805 packs, but it is far rarer than without.

Without question, absolutely.

I wear a +25 wound/injury treatment dress.

My max buffs are higher, and my mins are higher as well.
