Thread: Trying to hit 530 power stim B

I'm trying to beat 529 (contest for 2mil) and I've only been able to get to 526. I could have sworn I read that that if you used a material that didn't have, say, PE, but the schematic uses PE to determine overall quality, the PE part of the schem was ignored and there would be no penalty. I was reading the chef forums and apparently there is a bug only with hides/bones, a change in the crafting system since the last patch, or I was just simply uninformed.. the non-existant rating is being substituted with 1..? http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=chef&message.id=30336
I'm using 999OQ gemstone for my inorganic.. would I be better off using 975+/975+ OQ/PE petrochem or something? The reason I ask is that I don't have said petrochem, radioactive, etc. and would have to locate it. If I don't need it, I'd rather not spend ages scouring the galaxy for something that high of a quality.

Yes byak, From my expirience fiberplast (High PE OQ) works the best for final combines, I have almost broken 600 base heal with janta blood put in, But I went for more uses instead 
Hope it helps, And if you can get a group (or solo) the janta caves untill you get two units of janta blood you will most likely get your 2 mil

Fiberplast has a PE rating? I've never seen any? I tend to use radioactives or petrochems.

You know to use highest sub compents you can make...good OQ and PE on Herb, good OQ and PE on Dant Berries, good OQ on Class 4, etc. Expetiment for power on all of these.
Use the highest OQ inorganic you can find. Make sure there in no PE in this item.
Use the Highest OQ and PE in the Organic. Make sure there IS a PE on this item (wood and other inorganics have no PE).
The only thing that matters for power is OQ and PE. ANY resource with high OQ and PE will get you power (or just OQ if no PE is available). Mal will help make great Exper pop up more often, but not as important as OQ and PE.
You won't get over 500 power without Janta blood.

Yes, I agree with Blue-Quick. I prefer inorganics with no PE because it doubles the weight of the PE of the organic resource in the final combine. I consistantly make stim b's at 473 power without Janta blood and that is using some of the best resources to ever spawn. There is not a way to break 500 without Janta blood.

If your only trying to make a pack or two at this level, try getting some Janta Blood AND combine it with the special Liquid Suspensions you get from the Rebel Theme park.
Combining those two, I have no doubt you could be able to break 600.
I made several packs at 550 just using the Rebel LSs a couple weeks ago.

For anyone curious, the theoretical maximum power on a Stim-B usingperfect resources and regular components (no Janta blood or the special ALS schematic) would be505 (200 for the ALS, 30 for the ABEC, 75 for the ACDRM, and 200 for the final assembly).

Check out Skoal on Flurry. He has hit 32/575 I believe just the other day. (and yes it was a stim B).

Using the 250 power LS you get from the rebel themepark, I made 33/528 Stim B's. That was using a 16/16 BEC and a 65 CRDM, and some pretty damn fine organic and inorganic.
I'm sure if a made an all power BEC, I would break 530...
