Thread: Possible idea for doc enhancement concerning medical droids.

Was browsing the medical forums the other day (I'm new to doc so forgive me if this has been bought up before) but I came across someone who was wondering why a droid has a better medical rating than a med center. I replied that it may be because of the devs initial thinking that player made objects would be better than all else.
That's fine with me that you can actually in game be more effective with a player made medical droid than in the medical center but it got me thinking.
A master doctor should feel at home in the medical center and should do his greatest healing there but there should still be a way to provide that player interaction needed in the game and allow player made items to be the best overall items.
How about a possible enhancement to doc (or maybe master doc) that when a doc is in a med center with a medical droid the droid's functionality rating increases and goes above 110?
So a doc with a medical droid inside a medical center is the most powerful healer in the game. You can still use the droid in the field or be without a droid in the med center but if a doc is in the med center AND has a medical droid then their effectiveness would increase even more.
Thoughts?

Traigus answered this in the Camp Enhancements thread:
Structures override Droids, so no, your droid will not add anything in a Med Center.
Therefore, as it currently stands, using your Droid outside the med center adds 10% to your Medical Rating.
I agree with you that the Med Centers should give a higher rating than droids, and my alt character is aDroid Engineer.

You didn't understand what I said. I know a med center is less effective than a droid. What I proposed was a BONUS to droids when the droid is used INa med center.
So a doc INa med center WITHa medical droid will have a bonus TO that droid.

I understood what you said and told you the way it is going to be:
Structures override droids. period. There will be no enhancement to your droid added because it is in a Med Center. The droid is overridden by the structure. period.
Get it now?
