Nah I'm just kidding. I hate tumblers more than anything. You know grinding has gotten out of hand when you co to Coronet and all the docs are in the cantina healing /AFK macro junkie losers or are in the med center only healing some idiot tumbler. Tumble to standing should get nerfed so that it can only be performed while in combat. This is why. I have some pretty bad wounds all around. I go into the med center in Coronet and there are 5 docs that refuse to heal me because they are healing people that are tumbling for creds and thay want the easy xp. So now I'm forced to sit in the busiest med center in the galaxy surrounded by docs and medics and have to sit it out till I heal naturally. Talk about ruining a profession.

People will obviously find out a way around combat only tumbling if they change it... they'll just have two tumblers duel, unarm, and stand 8m apart.

Well, I have to confess...I blew through almost all of medic thanks to the tumblers.

Now, please continue reading!

I play on TC. Now, as you know, this is a smaller community. I had novice medic for 5 days, and had not managed to get 1, ONE, level 1 skill box filled. I was offered the time of a tumbler, and I accepted it.

now I am doc 0003. Almost have enough xp for a lvl 1 box. lol.

In certain cases, tumblers can be a good thing.

Lol, that's easy! Just have a Master Combat Medic stack health and action poisons on someone. Its even better than tumbling in my opinion. I wouldn't be giving suggestions if it were easy to get medical exp on my server in PvE. Everyone is buffed and in 80% composite armor and has access to 400 base stim B's to heal themselves.

Does anyone even use the tumbling as it was intended? I never used it when I had it. Maybe they should remove it from the game?

I agree, I hate the whole tumbler-leveling thing. Cripes, whatever happened to being a doc in order to actually heal people who need it. It's just a shame when the only medics and docs around are AFK macro healing AFK macro tumblers. Bah.

I remember in the good ol' days...well, you all know the story. I can't wait until the holo-grinding thing is gone for good and NO ONE will want to be a doctor unless they want to heal other people. (Well, or buff themselves, but that's a smaller population.)

my holo said wepsmith...

I am 2,4,4,0 doctor thanks to tumblers... I like being a healer type person... I just hate sucking at it for so long...

I will be able to rez by tonight... then just grand craft while waiting for shuttles to go somplace to buy what I need to grind craft...

Why? because between novice to master is a pain in the ass without a tumbler and a good crafting macro... if it wasn't such a pain in the ass, most doctors wouldn't get all pissy about it. Just a thought.. and when I told my PA I was going doc, I have had volunteers come out from the wood work to tumble for me... I had two tumblers going for about an hour and a half one night... (made novice doc wed. mornin... it is now fri. mornin and I am almost off of work...) I LOVE TUMBLERS.... They made what would have been one of the more boring grinds to do something I like to do way more pleasant and less time consuming... AGAIN, I LOVE TUMBLERS!!!!

Sorry I been reading these boards covertly for a while(as I used info here to make the decision between CM and Doc) and seen alot of bashing on tumblers and doc's that use em... I mean everyone wants the master doc's buffs or wants the master doc's heals and stims... So people are mad cause while I am at work I will setup my doc and an afk tumber to macro till server reset, instead of logging out and not being there at all? I mean with the exp cap being so low on a doc anyway... I can only do from 10k-20k xp over the highest level box's exp requirement... not like combat classes that can double the xp required for the highest level skill box attained...

So hate me because I will master doc in 4 days instead of the alternative:by the time I master doc I will be so sick of the prof I will want to drop it...

I already know enough game mechanics to not be a total newb to the doc prof... so I am not going to flood the market with substandard BS product and ruin the economy of my server... or try to muscle in on someone else's turf.. and I am not out ninja buffing people for xp... so I say the little afk thing is alot better then the alternatives.

OMFG, you can get loads of XP being the only Doctor in a Snaff group if about 8 people, 2 hours of grouping in a night will give you easily enough EXP to lvl up 2 boxes, about a week of grouping you will haveenough XP to concentrate on Crafting, which you will have allready started by crafting Stims for the grouping sessions.

And making money hunting the Snaff's as a Bonus. and to fund your crafting. no to mention much more fun that Macro's

/pfft Tumblers.

yeah, but that would mean I have time to concentrate and play in a group for two hours...

I work fulltime, got a wife, 3 kids, 2 dogs 2 cats and a bro-in-law that live with me... not to mention my mother, brother(and his family) my 2 uncles and thier families, my grandmother and RL friend all live in SanAntonio... 2hours of straight gameplay at one time? only happens two nights a week... when everyone is asleep... even then... dogs want to go out in the middle of the night, the three yr old has to go potty or the baby wakes up pissed off about somethin... cats gettin into **edit** all the time... Any wonder why I cancelled my celphone and land line and have everyone use my Wife's cel...

I have mastered 7 Prof.s already... I know people that have played for about 3 months that have mastered 17... I am not going to feel bad at all for using tumbers to master doc... See my point? I am the definition of a forced casual player... I dont have alotof socializing time ingame so I dont make alot of friends... Grouping with people that dont understand the mechanics of the game is just the most frustrating thing in the world... So I group with the people that know how to play and use tumblers...

Im sorry, I must have missed sommat? are you Grinding to open up an FS slot?

Just wondered why you have mastered 7 professions in such little time??

If you are grinding then this argument isn't really valid, What I said above was regards to Doctors what would stay as a Doc.

Been playing for 8 months.. my first holo said wepsmith...(still never even got close to master it...)

I like doc, I just dont want to spend the next month mastering it and be so bored of doc I drop it for something else... at least this way by the time I do get bored with doc(lets face it not alot of content in SWG... the most interesting thing to do is try different profs...) I will have already been a master for sometime...
