I've had some reports from customers using "timing macros" that their buffs have expired early at what seemed to be the 10,000 second mark. Is there an artificial cap on buff duration?

while I haven't noticed an exact timeframe I have noticed that it isn't what it is supposed to be. my action packs are over 12000 seconds, my others aer right around 10500. yet my action buff will expire less then 10 minutes after my other ones do normally...
I'd test it for ya but right now I am unbuffed but in the state where it still says I am because I logged out.

I did an experiment with a guildmate of mine to test this out. The test consisted of two sets of buffs, all with 10717 duration. Timed against a timer macro with indicators at 10000 and 10717, the buffs died at the 10000 mark on both tests.
Please can some other doctors attempt to verify these results?

I'll second this, my action falls well before my other stats and it's surposed to have longer duration..sometimes 20 mins before my other stats even begin to waver!

Health with 10560ish and action with 12230ish. Action always last atleast 10 minutes longer than my health.

Repeated the experiment again and this time they lasted the full duration. I am confused there is some kind of inconsistency here.

My packs are 12656 secs and they last for that time, give or take a few secs. I always make a buff timer for myself using /addinalarm.

Are you sure that the amount of time the buff lasts for isn't just as random as the buffs? Say a buff can max out at 3400 and a max time of 12,000, would a buff of 1700 only last half of the time?

yeah it's strange, I think the buff code is just buggy now. Funny my experiment repeated but then on the 3rd time it lasted the full amount.

someone reported to me that my enhances droped 1.5 hour after aplication i'm not sure whyand if it's true.
i refunded him but next time he wants enhance i'll make him pay twice what i refunded him if i remember his name. I've done this before....
my enhances are pretty good and consistant duration (+/- 10 seconds on action) . i usually get a long line when i log on. i've yet to time them.
