Thread: Boosting the Medicine Use Skill

I'm a 0/4/3/0 Doctor who is out of skill points, because I'm also a Master Brawler, Master Medic, and Master Teras Kasi Artist. As such, my Medicine Use skill is capped at +80.


As you might have guessed, I took on Doctor for the buffs. And the resurrection skills. But mostly for the buffs. Don't hate me.


It seems that all of the Enhance-D packs require Medicine Use of +89 or +90. My question is:


Can I, through skill tapes, bio clothes, or otherwise, inflate my Medicine Skill use to +90?


OR


Can Enhance-D packs be made to only require a +80 Medicine Use skill?

i had a shirt with +16 med use from a long time ago, but i hear that mod is broken...just like the old additional pets mod.

I would suggest going 0340 instead.


D buffs will give a far better buff

If I go 0-3-4-0 won't my medicine use drop even further? How would I be able to use D's?

No, med use is the third column. 0340 would enable you to use D packs, at the expense of 25 wound treatment and the ability to rez.

You could also just use well crafted enhance pack C's.

0-3-4-0 huh? Hmmm. I guess the question is how important is that resurrection skill? To my dead guildmates, probably pretty important.


I think I'll experiment a bit with Enhance-C's, and go from there. Thanks for the advice, everyone!

These do not work. There is no way to raise Medicine Use skill without earning more skill boxes that offer the skill.


The goofy thing is that they'll show that you get the bonus on your skill sheet, but you still won't be able to use advanced meds.

You can experiment down Enhance D's to 80 med use, but there no more effective than Enhance C's at that med use.

This is not true. Med use attachments were taken out of the game and any that still exist don't work anymore. This was stated officially somewhere and has been well known for some time.
