Seeing if anyone has noticed this I have been paying attention to my bad buffs and trying to figure if there is any reason for it, this is what I have noticed:

the following are negative factors
Non-wookies (I am serious)
People in armor
BF at any level
Wounds to secondary stats
Lower secondary stats
In an urban center (city player or otherwise)

The following make buffs better:
Wookies
Already buffed with food/spice
increasing my focus with food/spice
be in the middle of nowhere.

anyone else care to see if this is just me?

I *could* see the Wookie thing. The dev's might have wanted to place some hidden factor to offset their lack of armor.

I've tried to figure out a pattern, but it's just as random as the holocron stuff. Anything else seems coincidental, aside from the effect of bf.

This is with two characters, both doctors.

While I haven't paid as close attention to it as you have yet, I've had some of my worst series of buffs on wookiees, but on only just one (and he had no wounds), and my highest individual buffs on guys in full Comp armor.

Random: Had two wookiees within 15 minutes, one was the poor dude who got the worst set, and the other got a great set, with only one buff under 2300, and his Action was around 2900.

Random: While getting my highest buffs (currently at 3222 Action off a 908 pack and 3200 Action off an 868 pack) on guys in full Comp, I've also buffed the next guy or two in same armor (but don't know if the armor stats were similar) for lousy numbers.

Random: I bought a lesser quality set (591 to 760) from an unnamed source on my first day of buffing, and was very disappointed in it, but have saved it for pet buffs. However, I ran out of my better (820 to 868) packs yesterday, and had to use a couple buffs off the lower quality, and they came out in the 2200-2500 range.

Random: One night I ran out of Fishak and Muon, and my mind was hovering in the lower half of being healthy, and I still got the same randomness, with good buffs mixed in with bad.

My conclusion: It's pretty random. :->

Yeah, for some reason I give higher buffs when the patient is wookie.

Yes, all my best buffs were on wookies too.

I'll agree with you on the middle ofnowhere thing. I find that my buffs are best in the wilderness. I just set up a camp, bring out my droid, and disband camp. After that I buff for amazing numbers

I am a Wookiee that is a master doc as well. I have noticed my buffs just seem to suck in the med center, whether I have my droid out or not. I did some buffs at the starport on Lok and got higher buffs then I've had in the med center since the stupid trickle patches from this last patch went in.

I have every item of clothing enhanced with BE treatments so I have plenty of ability to buff.

Personally, I think either the trickle patches messed something up with the buffing system and the devs won't even acknowledge it, OR the devs put in stealth nerf and can't acknowledge it because they don't want us to know what they did.

There are way too many doctors and players alike that have complained about this for it to not be one or the other. I'm leaning towards the latter though, but with the total lack of any response from any dev what-so-ever, why should we think otherwise?

The randomness really does blow me away. Just for testing I buffed one of my friends and wrote down all the stats. His health buffed for like 1200 action for 2200and around 2000 for each of the secondaries. This was with 0 bf and 0 wounds. Once his buffs wore off I told him to come back to me and I buffed him again for 2800 health, 1400 action and secondaries right around 1800 or so. Used same exact packs and I wasn't on any mind enhancing food or drugs.

The randomness does kinda bug me...but as long as they are over 1000, most of my customers leave pretty happy.
