Thread: why am i buffing for 600 when it's a 780 buff pack??

Were you in a little camp? .65 heal ratings will take effect.
Did they have high BF? BF will impede effectiveness.

When buffing in a med center makesure you /registerwithlocation and pull out a 110 med rating droid if you have one. It will give you a nice bonus =)

1. Because they are 780 buff packs not 905
2. Because you don't have +wound treatment clothing on.
3. Because you are in a med center.

I think its a combination of crappy luck and the massive expanse in which a buff can roll for. I usually make 852 packs and I can still end up with some pretty crappy buffs. Its all just a roll of the virtual dice.

There's gotta be a reason for this besides what's been listed. I thought that the formula made it to where you could never get lower than the base on the packs if you were in a comletely neutral setting. If you're getting that though then there is somethign seriously wrong.

You can crit fail on any skill roll in the game (not just crafting).
This is a crit fail on the healing roll (happens with stims as well).
if you get one of these, wait a bit before you heal/buff again. The random number generator in computers is not really random, and runs in streaks.
