A master doc with full BE clothing and 930 buff packs should not be doing a 1300 buff. In fact, anything under 2k is ridiculous.

Please, fix this. Give a little something more to us. I didn't work my way up to master doc and make amazing buffs just to give a 1300 buff 50% of the time. I'm sick of refunding money.

Don't refund any money then.

All buffs are good buffs.

Ask them if they'd like an A pack buff next time if they get pissy at a low buff.

Everyone is not meant to have 2.5k all the time.

I agree Traigus. I stopped refunding. You cannot control the randomness of the buff. Last night I buffed someone. Health was 3100, str was 1900, const was 2300, action was 1200 (immediately after a droid recharge) the others were around 2100..

Ohwell.. its been well documented on these forums that the buff system is a bit wacky..And if I read things correctly, the randomness will stay, but in the near future players will have the option to drop a buff and get another one. Pretty cool huh. You give a guy a buff doing everything right to iincrease the chance of getting a good buff (bio clothes, 110% droid fully charged, 900+ power packs) just to get a "random chance" poor buff. Then the guy drops it and wants another one.. Cool so now we have say 100 sets of the secondaries left and 2 primary sets left. What a great *edit* idea..

Buffing using D packs should be a Master Doctor only skill and the results should be normalized based on the base power of the pack. This randomness makes no sense what so ever to me.

day by day I grow more frustrated with this game...

Buffs are way too random, and there seems to be no explaination to our paying public. We just have to say they are random, and move on. But once the new system is in place and the player can then remove their buffs (which i think is a good idea) we as doctors will have to deal with asking for more money from the player for the next buff (hoping of course that the new buff will be better than the one they remove)....

Why not make the buffs more static? and not so random?? you make the power on them from say 820 to 900 and the buff should be .......(2000 to 3000)....if you make buffs that are say 725 to 820...they buff should be (1500 to 2000)...

but to have a system that you make the finest of buffs and they turn out to be 1000 or less?? hmmm something is wrong with this .....so why go thru the hassle of getting the finest resources.....

And if i may please comment on one more thing....yes i think only Master Doctors should be able to use Enhancement pack D's....

So why even be a master doc, when you can rez before being master and use buff d's ?? so what is the insentive?

They should give us master doc E-packsthat are impossible to get to 90med use, almost like D's resource wise, but gauranteed to be above 2k always. It would shift the buffing business to us master docs instead of dabblers. (who piss me off, i get so many ppl complain they want me to kill/rez/buff them since a dabbler buffed em....)

I agree you should not give refunds on low rolls. You should explain to your customers your performance range (low-high-avg) and let them pay to take their chances.

So what were actually arguing is "What is a good buff?" Naturally since this is a game, we all want to do the best we can, and since 3k buffs are where its at, thats what we want to do. But apparently there are those who feel this should be a rarity. So what is a "good" buff? Shouldnt we expect some sort of reliability as a Master Doctor? Afterall, we MADE the packs, we should know how to use them to their fullest, or at the very least narrow down their randomness a bit more for Masters.

I dunno. Just seems as a master I should know my medicine a bit better than what I currently do.
