Is there any way to tell when you should use a battery on your droid? Does anyone know how long batteries last on a droid etc...?

Use any command on it and you will get a purple "low power" to float over its head.
This is a stopgap.
Publish 8 (April) will add a droid power meter. (As seen in this thread...)

ok....so there is no "half-way" point for power? So either the droid is fully powered or its not powered at all? I was thinking that each time you use it buffing or something it took a little of its power away.

No, batteries are a funtion of time, not a funtion of what you are doing w/ the droid.

It hasn't been proven at all that power does anything to the rating either. I have done my best set of buffs with my droid running out of power half way.
So I would say, the best way of telling when your droid needs battery is just when you get the message 'you must be in a camp, a hospital or next to a surgical droid to do that' when you try to buff or heal wounds.

Droid battery has no dev intended lowering abilities. A powered droid is a powered droid.

Just to chime in... would be nice if a little icon with the time left on the battery would be available, like the buff icons.
