grab like 25k of crappy tatooine fiberplast and lokian wild wheat. Get like 5-6 crafting tools, then write a macro that makes it so all you have to do is put the resources in and just grind out bio controllers the whole way. Should take you a few hours. For a good example of what a crafting macro may look like I recommend checking out the one in the armorsmith forum in the hologrinder thread, I used that and took out one of the /nextC's and only gave myself 4 seconds to put the resources in.

The search function certainly is a great tool...but macro abecs and you'll make it in no time. I put up my afk tag, popped a movie in the dvd player, and it's smooth sailing from there.

yeah even if you don't use a macro it goes quick. I don't use macros cuz i am a purist, but using 5 tools and making bio effcts i got 6k crafting xp in 35 min. so figure about 6-7 hours of crafting (taking into account need to pee, eat and give your finger a break) and you can get it all done kinda quick. another option to look at is, if you don't care much about faction points, use em to train. run faction missions and use the FP to train medic crafting. Kinda slow but your making money and getting combat xp at the same time instead of just sitting there doing just med crafting.

Also set one of your mouse buttons to double click. I did this with one of the thumb buttons on my mouse and it made a big difference.

It took me 3 hours to grind out 2-4 watching a hockey game. 1 I ground out by hand. I had the perfect macro, used 5 crafting tools, with a 3 second pause for adding the ingredients. I got it from the forums at swgcraft.com, and edited it to add another station and my schematic #. If I find it, I'll post it up here.

Anyways, the mouse double-clicking tip is beyond helpful. I wish I thought of that when I did it. One thing I CAN suggest, however, if you're going to do this by hand, is to place your windows so all the buttons you have to click stack on top of each other. This way, the wrist doesn't get a workout.

I have the Intellimouse Explorer 3 by Microsoft with the Intellipoint drivers. If you go into the control panel, mouse, then buttons, then on the bottom check 'Enable program-specific button settings then click on settings, you can selectively set a button per application. I went in and set one of my buttons (the browser back button on the mouse) to be double click for the application SwgClient_r.exe. It's handy for trading with someone or other double-clicking stuff needed in game. I just use the 'back' button on the mouse.

I found that sitting and mad macro crafting was somewhat boring. I did 1 straight threw then did 2-4 a little straight threw and some while waiting for shuttles and other down time. I ended up making 2 macros, one with a 3 sec pause for non lag and one for a 5 second pause for crafting in the city or laggy areas as I found that it needed more time to get the resources in. I did alot of the crafting in the hospital and was able to get about 400 app xp just by people running in and asking for training. I'd do a /dump, then teach them and then start back up. I was also able to get some medical xp by buffing the occasionally-wandering-into-the-hospital-looking-for-a-buff person. It worked for me.
