I'm reforming the Antarian Rangers on Starsider currently, and have a few questions for you all. First however I want you to be aware that as a multi-server "group" we're trying to stop price gouging by selling at a fair rate (we have a pricing guide/structure thats being worked on.) Its believed that happy, return customers are better in the long run then a one-stop hologrinder However there will always be people trying to corner the market, offering large sums simply because they have more money then they'll ever need. Regardless we're going to try. Though, we're not going to be taken advantage of just because we're trying to be fair You'd be surprised how much we like to trade for items and services though. *nudge*

Right now as we're forming there is just simply too great of a demand to have a stocked vendor. I'm almost certain if I advertised a vendor and went to bed it would be empty in the morning. So right now we're starting off with auctions here on the forums. My question is, what kind of stacks offer the most value/use to you all? For herbivore and avian respectively. 5k, 10k, 20k or higher? I realize some of you buy for personal use, and others for full factory runs, but I do want to know both sides as we're going to try and cater to both.

And then supposing we get our vendors going, would the stacks stay the same? Or just seperate everything into 1k stacks so hopefully everyone gets a chance at it?

Additionally I am thinking about placing a house outside of coronet with current resources for view. Basically there would be sections representing each planet and we'd keep the sample resources as current to shift as possible. Would this be something you would go see, or just a waste of time on my part? Thanks in advance.

Avian Meat:

One full crate of Enhance D's requires generally 1200-1400 units of avian meat.

To make one crate of each stat (6 total crates) requires 7200-8500 units

so for me, as a Master Doc, I would preffer minimum of 8k stacks of avian meat

Herbivore Meat:

One full crate of ACRDMs takes 918 units of herb meat

a full factory run of them takes 18,018 units

so again, as a Master Doc, I would like stacks of 18k. However, since i reserv most of my ACRDMs for enhance packs, and these packs require two crdms to craft, my minimum stack of herbivore meat would be about 2000, enough to make two full crates.

Alright well for example we've been collecting lokian avian meat for over a week now. (its very HQ, OQ is like 949 and DR and PE both over 800) I haven't tally'd for the entire group yet but I'm estimating we'll have over 60k of it.

So, as a prospective buyer would you rather bid on several (6 or 7) lots of 8500 meat, or 3 or 4 lots of 17-18k meat?

And thanks for both sets of info, a doctor friend had told me that 16,100 was a good amount for herbivore meat so that will be the standard large stack. No less then 2k on either for the vendors or extra meat.


Also, any interest in the resource house? Or not worth it when you can check swgcraft?

Avian meat should be in different size stacks than Herb. ACRDM's only require 16 herb each but Enhance packs require 22 avian each. I think a lot of people tend to make buff packs in singles instead of crates so they would require less of it. Then again, avian is hard to gather so they might buy large amounts if they could

With the next patch avian that good will really be in demand because of the changes to buffs.

For the resource house, I don't think it would be worth it. It's a lot faster to alt-tab out of the game and check www.swgcraft.com than it is to buy tickets, wait for shuttles, travel to the house.

I would saymultiples of16.5k of Herbivore Meat and 7k of Avian Meat would be the optimal stacks.
