Got a problem with my buffpacks, I want them to get a higher base enhance then I got now. At the moment all of my packs have 820 in Base and I use all advanced components. Is there some kind of special organic/inorganic I shall use to get higher power on the components or what is the problem?

I'd say the best resources are the ones required in the schematic as they're the only resources you can use. Try getting higher quality resources, reading the DOC FAQ, or getting some Janta blood (good stuff).

Its just a combination of finding better stuff and going for amazing sucsesses

820 Honestly isnt that bad. Any pack that can potentially break 3k is usable and you won't get customer complaints if u refund stuff under 1k power.

I'm wondering the same thing. My factory quit so I gotta start crafting my own.

Regardless of the quality of certain stats, is there a preferred resource?

I don't craft, I'm still new to it, but with my lightsaber - for instance - I used fiberplast with 992 of the important stat (Don't quite remember which it is right now, I think SR?) and then I made a second lightsaber using intert petrochem with 932 of that important stat. The saber made with inert came out with higher damage then the one with fiberplast.

So I have to wonder if on buff packs/components if there is a certain resource that gives better results; seeing how there is a wide range of different resources out there to fill in their slots.

with buff packs, you really don't have much choice in what goes into it. on all but action packs you are required to use avian meat and reactive gas.

I was thinking about doing that, Eyam. If I make my own, who cares if they are only 20 charges. I'd rather have 12k+ duration and as close to 1k power as possible. Stats like these might require a high doc experimentation tape... I think I just heard my bank account whimper.

SOE's catering to the carebear players has done more damage to this game than Jedi and CMs ever could.

You could also try meddling with the Adv BECs, experimenting for power instead of charges for one.

The Tat fibreplast on my server recently became (even) worse than before, yet the power of my packs & stims has gone up. Sure, there are fewer charges (down from about 23 to 20), but I'm better pleased with more power on the buff packs & the packs running out sooner.

I'm even starting to wonder if it might be an idea to experiment with making packs with deliberately poor Ad BECs, or maybe even with normal BECs. Anyone tried this?

Iam.
