I have failed 3 time in roll while experimenting my med ina city that had a research status. out of 4 crafting session i only had 1 success in experimenting without any failure.m the other three times i either failed creating the item, or failed at experimentation 2-3 times.
has anyone had this problem, oris the city status or bonus now bugged? im using a 43% crafting station and a 14.98% crafting tool.

I think my city is a research center too. I haven't had problems like this. What's weird is, I will get results like that in gobs on certain days. Some days are just bad days for crafting, I guess

What I shouldhave said is, I don't experience results like this frequently enough to think it's because of the city.

How do you know what kind of city you are in?
It tells you if your city has chosen a designation when you first cross into the city limits. There's probably also a way to check the designation through something on the city info terminal, but I'm not sure.

Does not seem bugged to mee, all is working fine.
Research center adds +15% not immunity to fail. You were just unlucky is my guess.
The higher complexity of the product the larger the % of getting a fail. Let me guess you were doing a secondary buff pack at complexity 40.
With research center I usually get a fail or regular success in 1 out of 3 packs on the average. Withoutresearch I was getting fails or regular success3 times to make one pack. So it is working. I have occasionally got several fails in a row, but that was just bad luck in the roll.

Personally I think it's working as "well" as a +42 crafting stations and +14 tools vs. -42 crafting stations, and -14 tools is working.
I was making as suit of armor, and had to make every piece at least twice because of crit fails or failures in experimentation. I'm not 100% convinced the whole system is working correctly.. I may have been having a "bad day" but that's still really high failure rate.. I've actually been tempted to go out and find negative rated stations just to do some testing..
I'm all for failures and stuff to make crafting interesting.. but a 50% success rate is kinda low IMO..

I have to agree with Baaric here. Im not convinced that its working right either. I havnt seen an amazing success in days. I tend to get alot of great successes, but anything below a great success and the pack is ruined in my opinion. How a good success or just a regular success can have such a negative impact is beyond me. But yeah... Ive seen alot of failures lately -vs- getting top end successes. As a master doc I should know what Im doing when it comes to medicine.

I have seen a huge difference personally when my city got the specialization. For example, when making schematics for buff packs I used to have a fail or good success for about 3 or 4 attempts per schematic... Now in 6 schematics I fail maybe three times. And I get amazing successes pretty often too, to the point where I only have to try 5 or 6 times max to get one on a schematic, and I sometimes get two.

Our city is set for research. I was making a few meds by hand on the weekend and on 2 of them I got 3 amazing success in a row.
