Where are some good hotspots to get legit medical xp? I was thinking of going to Fort Tusken and just running around and healing the grinding brawlers etc. Does that sound like a good plan?

I'm loathe to heal afk macro tumblers and I'm also not up for just sitting in a catina healing afk dancers. I was pretty upset this weekend to go into the medical center in Coronet on Intrepid and I was about the only medic there actually healing people. All the other "medics"were healing the afk tumbler while people just sat there with black HAM bars wondering if anyone was going to heal them.

Pretty annoying if you ask me.

medical experience sucks for doctor. I was ready to give up and hire a tumbler. Then I found someone macro sampling radioactive by the door to the cantina in Coronet. I think I got 85k experience healing her wounds. Experience came much faster than healing dancers or tumblers.

It turned out that she was an alternate toon for a dancer that was inside.

I don't know what a good spot is. I spent a lot of time running around Coronet healing everybody that showed wounds.

Cantina's. Give some of the dancers an action and a health buff (no sub stats) and just heal them as they dance.

You don't get my question.

I want hot spots for LEGIT xp not "where can I find the best tumble monkey's and afk dancers"

If you want to do it the old fashioned way and want to have a bit more adventure than sitting in the Theed/Coronet medical center all day, hit an adventure planet.

After crafting up a half pack of stims and woundpacks, I was lucky to find some larger (8+) groups on Dathomir looking for adventure. I just asked the leader: "Can I join your group? I ama Master Surgeon, and I will keep everyone in your group alive. If anyone needs healing of any kind, I will provide it at no charge."

Needless to say, I was joined up in no time. I got a cut of the mission payouts, a good dose of pistol experience, some tips, and LOADS of medical experience.

It took me roughly 2 days to get all my medical XP for the Doctor Profession. I spent a lot of time talking to people in Coronet, went hunting on Dantooine, and when I was able to craft buffs, I asked dancers if they wanted them.

Another great way to get XP is to Revive people. You get roughly 1.4k every pack. So hook up with a party on Dath, and go hunting rancors. *Grin*

BTW....Crafting sucks.

Thanks for the helpful hints.

I'm very new to the medical profession (I'm still just 3-3-3-4 medic). I've been playing this game since launch but am trying Doctor because I want to do something new and it intrigues me.

A quick question though. If I sell a stim and someone uses it do I get medical xp? I've never sold a single stim because I knew I couldn't compete with the 400 stim B's (and I'm new the medic field). I would post in the medic forum but since I want to be a doc and the two professions are so closely related (like scout and ranger) I thought I'd get a better response posting here.

Crafting doesn't really concern me too much. I don't mind "grind" crafting that much (can't do too much of it though) and when I really want to experiment with actual products I can enjoy that too. Although the crit fails bite on a final combine . . . time to load up the factories I guess.

I've heard about something like that.....but I'm not sure if its true. If it is, I think it is a very small amount of xp. Again though, I'm not really sure about it though.

Hey atimes...

Sounds like you want legit XP, but fast. Sometimes it's hard to get the best of both worlds.

I get a lot of legit XP hanging around the Advanced Planets starports with my droid out.

Or find themparks, sit next to Nym and when people come in for there next mission, zap em.

I went to fort Tusken yesterday as a matter of fact, a lot of wound XP and stim XP. People were even accepting my enhance A's and B's. I got a lot of XP.

And stimming a few Afk dancers is no crime, a few that is.

I have fallen into the crafting macro addiction trap though. ONLY because my legit healing XP comes substantially quicker than my crafting XP.

I also go to static spawns like a Rebel v.s Imp spawn and I heal my fellow Rebels.

Remember you get no crafting XP when you use factories (or if you do it's very, very small and people aren't exen sure about that, although you get user XP)

You could give away some free medicines to noobs who can't afford meds, you will get there user XP. (if someone could explain user XP that would help me and the poster as I'm not clear about it either...)

I recently Mastered Doctor myself and I gained most of my xp buy actually healing people!! I didn't hang out in many cantinas, using up stims on the /afkmonkeys. I'd pull out my droid and sit in the shuttle ports, star ports or at mission terminals, healing one and all including pets. I tried to avoid Coronet altogether because of themacro'd tumblers and medic/doctors. Mostly, I stayed close to home on Dant. There is never a lack of wounded!! I didn't ask for money, just that I be allowed to use my limited medical skills. I get the xp, the person healed gets to play longer. We both win. Ninja healing at it's finest! Not only did I gain the xp, but I was tipped anywhere from 120c to 10K, just for healing. To date, the only players I have ever buffed, besides myself, are the ones in my hunting group and their lower level pets. Not only did I gain xp, the CH's also made good xp with a lower level pet buffed as high as I could get it. I have had numerous /tells and offers to buff but I just can't find myself doing that all the time. It would be as boring as the crafting tree!I often go on hunts with groups but that's just me. I haven't gotten into the money making end of Doctor, (if there is one) frankly the thought of trying to keep track of the constant shifting resouces gives me a headache!
I haven't changed my way of "playing" Doctor since Master. I'm quite content still doing the things that made me a Doc in the first place. BTW, I had to go Doc... I'm a Carbineer!!

On kauri there is a lot of hunting group at the Mining outpost on Dantooine.
Turn on you doc title (master surgeon is the best) and set LFG...you receive an invite in no time. When you get revive, go only with voritor hunters groups and your grind is almost done.
