Which Avian Meat is Better?

Here's my choices

on Lok...OQ 803 PE 812 DR 879

or Rori...OQ 968 PE 492 DR 76

And could someone break down what DR does? if it makes a difference?

Kid, I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other. I've
seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen anything to make me
believe there's one all-powerful force controlling everything. There's
no mystical energy field that controls my destiny.

But it gets even more complicated than that, since Reactive Gas does not have a PE value, in the total calculation, i believe the Lok would end up with far better results, since its PE value is twice that of the Rori.

If you're looking at purely power and duration and you weight them equally in importance (and you assume that the stated formulas are correct), you get a base formula of:

60% DR + 40% OQ + 66% OQ + 33% PE =

3/5 DR + 2/5 OQ + 2/3 OQ + 1/3 PE =

9/15 DR + 6/15 OQ + 10/15 OQ + 5/15 PE =

9/15 DR + 16/15 OQ + 5/15 PE

This reduces to 9*DR + 16*OQ +5*PE

Now, since the gas has no PE, it doubles in the avian meat formula (and drops from the reactive gas formula). So for enahnce Ds, you would have:

Reactive Gas - 9*DR + 16*OQ

Avian Meat - 9*DR + 16*OQ + 10*PE

These are the formulas I use, though if ease of use or charges were important to you, you could easily factor in the formulas for those as well (which would drive up OQ or both OQ and PE).

By almost any standard (including power only), the Lokian meat is better.

Most docs I know look for power first when making enhancement packs and everything else takes a back seat. If that's the case, you can use the following formula to determine which avian meat is better (is going to make a more powerful pack):

0.5 * OQ + 0.5 * PE

That formula will yield some result between 1 and 1000 - the higher, the better. If we plug in the values of the two meats you have, you get this:

Lok: 0.5 * 803 + 0.5 * 812 = 807.5

Rori: 0.5 * 968 + 0.5 * 492 = 730

Now, add to that the fact that the Lokian meat has a higher DR so you'll get longer lasting buffs and the fact that Lokian avian meat is easier to harvest than Rori avian meat and I'd say that we've got a pretty clear cut winner.
