Hi all, I hit master Medic yesterday, I plan on hitting master Doc within the week. I'm going Doctor for 2 reasons, one, as a maser 2hand swordsmen, I am looking forward to not hunting around for buffs for an hour a day and 2, another source of income. My question is, as the title says, to and Doctors who operate large scale business. I basically want to know about how many resources I can plan on going through a week. Anything that I can use a harvester to get at isn't a problem, I'm more wondering about meats. Can I plan on going through 2K a week, 20K, maybe 200K?? Any opinions will be useful.

ps, I already operate 5 vendors in a shop, and get a fair amount of traffic for the rares, and spices and sliced items, so I can only assume the doc goods will increase the volume of traffic I am currently getting,

again, thanks for any help.

Boy - that really depends on what you plan to sell. If you're going to be making enhancement packs, you're going to burn through as much meat as you can collect in a week (and then some). However, if you're going to be making semi-advanced Stim B's (without the ACRDM), you won't use an ounce of meat.

I started off making all advanced meds - I wouldn't use a subcomponents that wasn't advanced. I'd burn through thousands of units of meat each week. I quickly learned that it was just more work than it was really worth. Instead, I started learning when and where to use my advanced subcomponents and I drastically reduced the amount of meat I was using without really degrading the quality of the items I was producing.

I'm sure this isn't the answer you were looking for, but I can't tell you how much meat you plan to use unless you tell me what you plan to make and sell. I can tell you, though, that you can control how much meat you use. By the end of my days as a med salesman, I used no meat whatsoever and still sold a lot of meds.

You can operate without using any meat. With careful resource selection, you can fairly easily hit 400/40 on Stim B's without meat, for example.

Accounting for some downtime between factory runs, you will go through around 10000 to 14000 resources a day per factory on medic/doctor products. It's a bit higher on CM meds (higher subcomponent resource requirements without longer factory times).

If you do have a good supply of meat, you will go through a lot. You 16000 herbovire meat to make 1000 all-advanced Stim Bs. You can make around 140 Stim-Bs a day per factory to give you some idea of the potential requirement.

If you plan on selling buffs (typically they go for 10k a set) you will need lots of avian meat and herb meat (for advanced components). I can go through 200k easily in a week, but had to slow down due to the lack of resources and amount of people grinding that are unable to help me gather the meats. If you plan on just sticking to stims you can harvest the materials pretty quickly and without much effort. The best thing to do is find a spot of the material you want and focus as many heavies (BER 12-13) as you possibly can on the area. Don't waste heavies on anything less than 75%.
