They could start by placing a better then average crafting station in the med center. They could do any of the following:
1)Decrease the risk of failures on crafting
2)Increase the xp generated from each craft/stim/wound done 3)Pay us to be there
4)In player city med centers generate tax from each heal
5)Recharge medical robots while inside for free
6)Make crafting take less units of resources while there
7)Make quests force us there
8)Make groups of doctors share XP instead of competen for it much like bands
9)Put a public medical factory there
10)Make it the lowest place in the city so everyone rolls down hill and ends up there *hahaha*
Give medical missions instructing the doctor to go to the med center and heal 1,000, 5,000, or 10,000wound points. Give the medic exp pts for it, plus payment at .5 to .75 credits per wound point healed (to cover the expense of the meds used).
As a master doctor, even I would go hang out in the med center and do missions like this. Currently, there is no reason form me to be there. Its just an expense to me. Most do not want to pay for your service, and will berate you if you ask a fee.

Truth is, after you make Master, there just isn't a reason to hang out in a med center other than for social reasons.

I would love missions like the ones Jorzun suggested. Only problem, the newbies would have a heck of a time leveling since we can heal 500+ wounds in one shot.
The rest of the player base would love this though.
Great idea but I could see it getting exploited. Players would get their Commando or CM buddies to blacken their HAM bars. Maybe base it on healing a quantitiy of players not just wounds. Say "Heal at least 50/100/200/500/1000 points in wounds (Combined STA, CON, HP, ACT etc) from 15/30/45 different patients". You could still exploit it to a degree I guess but I doubt many would go to that much trouble.
When I start making more money off tips from healing in med centers than I can buffing on Dathomir, I'll think about hanging out in Mos Eisley Med Center again.

I agree. I avoid the money sink called med centers at all cost unless someone sends me a tell. I do not gain med XP for anything anymore, so I am either driven to help my friends, fellow PA members, or turn a profit.
People get mad when asked for money up front for wounds. I like the idea of a pure medical vendor/bazaar where only emdical components could be sold and bought. Thus is you have wounds, you can purchase one from the vendor, and then ask to have the doc heal your wounds. Thus, some docs can make money by selling stims directly to the people who need them, and the docs/medics who work there do not pony up their own resources to help others..
