Personally I want to keep doctor, but my 4th holo says doctor.
Anyways, I'm wondering what the best route is. I read the Doctor FAQ, but it didn't actually give the best route on what to learn first and the best way to get exp overall (I think it was buffing pets over and over).
Any suggestions please?

I did all of medic in about 6 hours. I used a crafting macro for the crafting exp and just did Stim A's on practice mode, this took the longest. Next I logged in a friends account and /dueled her, beeing a commando...I was able to flamedot her pet (which wounded him 300-1000 points a tick). Once he was wounded, I would just hit him with a health wound pack (bought a factory crate of some nice ones that healed 150 wounds a shot)for 200-600 medic exp per cast. With the DoT still active for about 5 minutes after the initial attack, I was able to heal his wounds for quite a while before I had /duel again and reapply the DotT. Getting the required medic exp took about 4 hours. Another way is to have a friend just /tumbletostand /ui action toolbarSlot00 while you heal him over and over and over and over.
Once I got novice doctor, I started all over, this time using the tumbling method (had to drop commando to get doctor). I used another crafting macro and have it set up so all im doing is double clicking my resources, it uses 5 kits. I was making Stim A's to use for my tumbling healing. Crafting exp is sloooooow. I am still looking for a faster method to get crafting exp, or a better item to make. Tonight im gonna purchase a crate of high charge Stim B's. Right now im sitting in game, uses Stim A's for 35-75 exp every 6 seconds. Its slow, but its easy.
If anyone knows a quicker way to get medic exp, and crafting exp, by all means...share it. Im not doing doctor for a holocron either, im doing it so I can buff myself and friends and be a decent healer.

The crafting exp should be easy. I'm stocking up on tatooine fiberplast and lokian wild wheat to use for grinding. Should have enough to get all the crafting tree part.
Course I haven't started yet, but should go by fast. Mastered tailoring in 3 days just grinding, not including leading hunts and junk too in between.

Yeah I spoke with a couple master doctors in my guild today, they all said grind on Advanced Bio Controllers. Unfortunatly, im going to be out of town until tuesday otherwise I would have mastered doctor by sunday easily. Im at 0411 right now, just gonna let my macro run and eventually it'll boot me once stims are gone.

If you have a friend that is a CH with pets you can usally find a CM to disease their health and action.
Grind Adv. BEC's the whole way. You can set up a macro to heal the pet and then use a macro to grind BEC's at the same time.
Go up the wound treatment tree first, cause the farther you get up it the higher the xp for healing wounds. I could pull 1k each time healing wounds
next the speed tree.
Its not that bad off a profession to grind. If you have a pet.
Can easliy be done i one day.

I find it a little strange that people use Stimpack A's with the/tumbletostand method, but if that works for them, it's not my business. I use the /tumbletostand method, but I just use stimpack D's. Also, if you have a friend who is a doctor, have them buff the person who is /tumbling, and when i did that, I got about 950 medical exp per heal. Easiest way, I think

advanced bio effect controllers give 80 exp
the doc tree is simple if you have multiple tumblers except for the crafting tree....for this i crafted stim b's and sold them on the bazaar for 1500....they weren't the greatest stims, best i made were 31/380 but they were at a good price and i made good money off them and then turned around and used the profit to build up my inventory for crafting enhancements when i hit master
i just didnt have the patience or credits to grind it
