i use the common macro that i see on this forum frequently, and its a great one. i already have MD on one server, and am making a new one on a different server.
i couldnt figure out why i was getting 1/2 the xp's from the macro that i usually have.i use 16 chem crafters to end up with almost 1300 xp's every series, and this worked in the past for my first master doctor. but this time i was getting just over 500 xp's per series.
it turns out (im sure some of you already figured this) that the command:
/selectDraftSchematic 0;
no longer called up the Advanced Biological Controller, instead calling up Wound Pack A. so i cycled through the command a few times, until finally on
/selectDraftSchematic 9;
i got the advanced biological controller. i tried logging off and on again to see if there was a technical glitch, but that didn't change it. i tripled checked the gui screen for crafting, but it was the same as always. i am now waiting for the server reset to see what effects, if any, it may have.
has anyone else encountered this change in numbering that forces a different line in a much-used macro?

I think its some type of gltch I noticed that the diferent items changed often even though I hadn't made a crafting level. I just had to adjust the macro frustrating but hey...

someone probably got near you with a droid that had a crafting station. Or you were using a droid that had a station and the battery died.

It seems like it happends alot at server shutdown. It has been common to me in the the crafting trees that i have done. If you learn a new level then you will gain more schematics, then at server reset it reorganizes them and therefor changes the numbers.
I have even had it reorganize on a server shutdown even though i had not learned a new level. It's not a big deal. a easy way you can get the schematic number is by making this little macro.
/ui action toolbarSlot01; (crqafting tool)
/selectDraftSchematic xx;
place this in the toolbar in a spot your not using. Run it and change the number if its not right. Then after you find it change the ginding macro.

good ideas, i had looked for a crafting station(s) nearby, and for any droids or players, but no one was around me and i saw no crafting station.
my location was the Imperial Base on Lok, outside near the front gates...is there a perma-crafting deal in effect at npc faction bases perhaps?

best way to find the scem number is open the tool to the scematic selection screen and type " /select 1" then hit esc and type "select 2" etc untill you find it. You can look in your data pad and get an aproximate place for the item your looking for...cant count em out to the exact number but youll have a better place to start from.

I seem to remember someone saying that to find the schematic number you open your datapad, click on "draft schematics" then count left to right top to bottom untill you get to the one you want and there is your number.
Not sure how accurate this is but thought I would suggest it.

Youc an count it in your datapad...but only count the schematics that the particular tool will load. I.e. if you have food/chem tools, skip over "Basic Camp Kit" and "crafting tools" etc from novice artisan and scout.

This used to work. They changed everything around with publish 6 though. Every one of my schematics ended up with a new number. It seems totally random now.

I noticed the same problem while I was crafting. I tried counting in my datapad but it didnt work, I had to test each draft shematic number, finally at like 19 I got it.

When I was griding, I noticed it changing between two numbers quite often. I always chocked it up as randomness introduced to make the Macros not work quite as well..
