Thread: Wound Treatment Question

I hit Wound Treatment 2 last night, and started lobbing enhance packs on everyone I saw along with healing wounds. My question is, does Wound Treatment make your enhances land harder, like First Aid does for stims? I'm sure something has to boost it if you can land one for up to 3x it's base power.


I made a set of Health/Action A's (only have Crafting 1 right now) with 11-13 charges, and 75-95 power. Only using regular components since I'm just throwing buffs on anyone I see. The strongest I've landed was 189 so far, that was with the 95 power pack.

Yes, the wound treatment line will increase the potential of your Enhances, its also a good idea to buff inside medcenters or buy a good lvl 6 med droid to improve your buffs even more.

it does help you buff better the higher up in wound treatment .


another thing is you shouldn't buff anyone without asking their permission because higher buffs don't override lower buff so if that person was going to get a high buff from another doctor they won't be able to do it until yours expire. and also make them aware you are using weak buffs.

Does wound treatment have to go up in increments of 10 to be effective? i.e if someone is buffing and has wound treatment is +100 and then has the +25 in BE clothing, does bivoli tempari have to go up in increments of 10 to be effective? What this means is someone who has 125 wound treatment already with BE clothing, does bivoli at +25 make that much of a difference versus +20? If it is in 10 point increments, then +25 would take you to 150 while the 20 would leave you at 145. Does that stat work the same as experimentation points and anything 140-149 doesn't count the same at 150?

No. As I understand it, your wound treatment will count as a percentage increase to your buffs. So you will not have to increase by 10 for the pts like experimentation.

That's what I thought, but a friend pointed out that most everything else goes in increments of 10 so I wondered if there was any truth to that.

That's not necessarily true. I've got a Rifle Speed +4 tape and I notice a HUGE difference. And no, it doesn't bump me up over the next multiple of 10. It takes me from 90 to 94.

Even experimentation tapes give a better chance of great or amazing successes if less than 10. Its just at 10 you get the point.

The majorty of skills in SW are actually percentages (which is why a lot of combat is so borked at the moment).

Wound treatment is definitely a percentage +10 = +10% fo a 850 medicine (+ 85 points dded to the 850).
