Thanks all for the feedback in the thread "Finally Docs waking up and realizing their true worth." I'm starting this one because it addresses another issue connected with asking for a higher fee.

Well, this is very funny. Yesterday I wasinsulted for asking for 12k. One of the ppl was a wealthy weaponsmith, LOL. Afternoon of the publish ppl were happy to pay 12k, that eveningsometurned on me. 5 were added to my igniore list. That's not to say I didn't get business. I did quite well, but not like the afternoon.

I don't mind getting fewer players, less work for a higher fee just equals out with the undercutters.Butwhy choose to wait on long lines to save 4K?

Isn't that strange? 20-30 minutewait to save 4K!?!? They could have been playing the game with better and longer buffs during that time and make the 12k back and more. Loose logic at work or just an irrational response. Perhaps some passed the time chatting in tells. *shrug*

However, I won'tsubject myself to this stress and abuse for much longer, so I hope this will change. I have about 45 million in the bank and enough buffs to keep me and my friends buffed for a year. Ifplayers don't stop harassing meabout rates they don't have to pay, due to the competition, then I'll take in my shingle.

Anyway, those of you who are charging the true worth of a buff, bravo to you. You have my respect. I'll keep selling and see if this annoying behavior stops.

Edit: Forgot to mention my buff stats are2385 or so (depending on Bivoli)for 3:40 with bio-clothing.

I never yelled out once that I was buffing last night and had no problem selling many, many buffs for 12k. My alt character on bria is a master doc.

Lol - my alt is a master doc and just went rebel. The smuggler/pistoleer one is my main character, but I was bored with no smuggler content. The master doc alt is on a different galaxy from the main anyway, so my AT-ST can't tune them in

12k is my standard rate now for buffs that hit ~2500 for each stat. Only one person thought the price was high, but he still paid for a set. I had two people that were so happy with the buffs they tipped me 20k.

Now with Publish 7 you should feel insulted since all the "time and effort" you took for your "high quality" resources arent gonna get you much more than someone that didnt take much time at all.. thats the sad fact of it now...

I dont think that this is a fact that most Doc's have come to grips with yet...

I craft high end buffs out of pride. But then again i dont try and sell them...just not worth the time for my effort. I can make better money selling app exp that costs me nothing for 2k a traning in lvl 1 marksman or brawler support.

But if im in a good mood and someone asks me for buffs ill sell them...12-15k and it has a lot to do with how they ask.

People need to understand im A master doctor not YOUR master doctor.

As someone who is working towards Master Doc and has paid for numerous buffs I have no problems paying up to about 15k for a set, and with Publish 7 I can ask how muchthebuffi is before hand so all the better.

why are you overcharging or even buffing at all when you 45 million credits? 12k is too much i think. has the cost of making buffs really doubled?

It takes days in a factory just to run the componets to make the buffs. Running 3 factories non stop i spend 3 or 4 days making just half crates of buffs. And then add in the hours it takes to sell the buffs...and the even more hours trying to get the resorces by either buying them finding them yourself or paying someone to find a spot. And trying to find someone that can help with the meat harvisting at a decent rate that is willing to get any stack....be glad they were 6k wen they were. You can make 10x the price of 12k buffs doing even crappy missions wile buffed so how is that to much to ask? Its just a fraction of the money you will make. And if you choose to pvp with them instead so be it. Personaly i think they should cost 15-20k per set for any packs over 850 or so. Heck look at armor those smiths get over 45 cpu for resorces used if its high end....and usualy more than that.

I certainly agree with the point of charging 12k for quality buffs.. It takes a great deal of time to gather the high quality resources and meats.. Then the crafting of the sub componets and then the crafting of the buffs.. I mean if your spending your time ( and days of it) crafting the buffs.. ANd I myself use 3 factories as well.. It is worth it ...

I have no problem at all making a huge profit selling my 700-800 base power buffs for 7k/set (end result power is 1750-2000). I could eat some bivoli and get another 200 power to the buffs and sell for 8-9k (And no worries about the price of Bivoli, that pays itself off with the first buff, but still lasts another 12 minutes)
