Thread: Master Doc and Bivoli...
Enhance D's run anywhere from your number up to mid 900's base rating, with some approaching 1000. We can't break 1000 without Janta blood. What are the ratings of the componentsyou are using? And what are the stats of your Avian Meat & Reactive Gas used in the final combines? Packs rated 500 are, as you mentioned, not terribly good so we should evaluate your ingredients to see what areas need improving. On most servers, a pack rated over 800 is attainable and most non-holo grinder MD's shoot for that mark or higher.
As for Bivoli it is food thatadds up to +25 to your Wound Treatment skill, which is factored into how high your enhancements land on the target.
Crafting is all about ingredients.
The final two ingredients matter more than the subcomponents...that is to say, using the same subcomponents I can get action packs about 100 to 300 pts higher than my other packs simply cause its easier to get top quality organics than avian....
Just remember whatever you put in the final slots of your buff pack is pretty close (or higher) than what the base will be. If you put in 500 ish you'll get out 500 ish. If you put in 900 ish ingredients, you should be getting around 800ish buff packs back out...certainly 700. So The only thing I can think of for your 500 ish packs is (a) all your components aren't advanced (though one or two non advanced shouldn't matter to break 500) (b) you don't use all your points to experiment (c) you don't go up in stages (you just use all the points in one shot). Usually comes out better to spend a few points at a time.
or (D) you aren't using +900 on all the stats that matter.
You need good quality AND energy avian. I know it says 1/3 in the crafting box for the energy score......but say youhave two different avian stacks
(Stack A:quality 400 energy 600
Stack B: quality 600 and energy 400
the Stack A is going to be better b/c with a little luck, you should be able to find some really high quality (and /high decay) reactive gas. to bring up the averages quality score for the buff pack, butthe gas doesn't have any energy stat so it comes just from the meat. So you end up with
buff A quality 2/3 of the (avg of 400 + gas score) and 1/3 energy of 600
buff B 2/3 (600 + gas score) energy 400 ...
Some people even say that energy matters 50/50 with quality....so I just basically try to get BOTH energy and quality high if I can.
You can test what I'm telling you with organics in an action pack b/c that's so much easier than getting avian meat. Anyone shoudl be able to find high quality and energy organics on the bazar or resource vendors....finding reactive and avian is harder. But with a little work looking round, if you have decent quality advanced subcomponents, you can make action packs that are way over +500...if not over 900.
So see what works on your action packs, then just hope for tasty birds to fly your way ![]()
