Strange problem I've been having lately with my Master Doctor account
No matter what I use (within reason of course) for a buff pack I continue to get the same buffs when I buff people, that includes myself. I've made sure there are no wounds or BF to screw up the process but the buffs keep coming out almost the same.
Example: I use an older (a few weeks old) set of buff packs that are all rated in the mid 800's, action is rated at around 920. When I buff someone or myself I can only get buffs at around 2000's and action at around 2200, yes this means everything is a constant 2k and action is always 2200. This happens regardless of where I am, in town using my droid, in town in the hospital out in the field in a camp or in my house.
So today I got sick of getting the same old thing I made a set of buff packs that were slightly less (on purpose) to see what they would do and sure enough they gave me the same results when I buffed myself?
So what gives here? Am I bugged? Is the buff system screwed up now? Seems like an awful strange problem to be having doesn't it? With the older buff packs I used to be able to buff peoplein the mid 2k's easily all the time and hit in the 3k's at least once every couple of buffs. Now the 3k's are a thing in the past. Did they regulate the buffs now on how strong they are or can be?
If anyone out there can give me some answers I'd sure appreciate it it.

Welcome to publish 7 =) No more random buffs, just constants using the new buff calculations.
You should read this forum, they give great input to the new buffing system.

There is a formula some where to find out how much you will buff now. But its exact numbers now no random 800 buff or 3k buff with a 850 power pack.

I will admit that I don't read this forum very much. So that's why I'm buffingthe same regardless of the buff pack being less than 850 ( say in the 840's) or like 822 or so. When does it change now every 50? Who's bright idea was it to change the system to this? Does everyone like it? Myself I can't say if I like it or not yet? At least we don't get people complaining that was a low one any more eh?

Actually you shouldn't get the same buffs with different power packs, and what you describe is indeed weird.
