Hey everyone. I'm trying to grind Doctor as well as Medic. So far, I am a novice medic. Anyone know any working macros to help me grind? What I was thinking of doing is getting someone to tumble for me while I macro heals on him. I need a macro that works for healing tumbling people. Also, I need a crafting macro that works. I'm a newbie at macros, so could you explain what to do with the toolbars as well? Any help is welcome, thanks.

You are right. The tumbling-thing is the fastest and you can make all medic/doc/CM lines (except crafting of course) afk. Yes AFK. I hate to say this because i did it the old style (healing ppl haha).

- So get a friend, let him take an armor that lowers his/her sec stats to nearly 1.

- Enhance his health and action if possible.

- Let him do the macro : /tumbletoprone /ui action toolbarSlotxx (your friend won't watch this heh)

For you:

- get some stimpacks (a 100 factory crate would be fine) and do

- /healdamage; /pause 20; /ui action toolbarSlotxx;

The pause will depend on how good the stimpacks are and how fast you can heal.

This way you can go from novice doc to 4-4-4-0 doc in about 6-7 hours.

I don't know if this is permitted but as a master doc you will be useless until you make some decent enhance packs. And THATS a lot of work hehe. So i have no problem with many master docs running around heh.

Why in the world are you bothering to do this. Is it to buff yourself? Save 140 skill points and just buy them. Is it for a holo? Wait until the new system comes in.

Man this tumble macro afk healing is getting so old. Every time I go into the coronet med center I see someone tumbling and a ton of docs sitting around healing them.

I also see people with real wounds sitting there asking "is someone going to heal me". Heck I got a 10K tip one time because I was the ONLY MEDIC in the coronet med center actually healing people and ignoring the afk tumblemonkey.

I healed a tumblemonkey once to level and felt bad and deleted the skill and re-earned it by legit healing. Later I tried it again and after a single heal it felt so cheap I vowed to never do it again.

I'm happy to say I am now a novice doctor with 100% non tumblemonkey healing medical xp.

You felt bad about healing a tumbler? When I'm in the med center crafting away and nobody else is in there and someone comes in and starts tumbling...I'm going to heal them. If someone comes in who actually has wounds or needs a legit heal, I'm going to heal them.

It is essentially the same thing as lets say a novice marksman going out and killing every sevort or krettle in site. It's a quick and easy way to get xp. I really don't understand why people have problems healing tumblers. Granted, there are a lot of medics\docs out there that ignore people that actually need heals, but not all of us are.

As far as afk grinding...if that's what you want to do that's cool. That much doesn't make any sense to me. Why pay for a game to push a button and let the game play itself? I sign on to the game because I wanna play it.

It's cool that you made novice doc without using any tumblers...it just seems that you look down on people that look for a quicker way to get there...and that just doesn't seem right to me.

I'm not looking down on tumbler healers really. If you want to heal a tumber then be my guest. I just think it's a cheezy way to do it. To me doctor's are more for the community than for themselves. Just as no one becomes a weaponsmith just to make their own weapons docs don't become doctors just to heal themselves.

My goal is to bea doctor and enjoy my time doing it. I've been playing this game for awhile and want to be more community oriented so i'm trying doctor. I want to heal people who have real needs. Tumblers don't do that for me. I can get plenty of xp by healing people with real needs. Besides when a rush of people come in with wounds you don't have time to heal tumblers anyway. Instead of healing a tumbler why don't you find a group and say "hey I'm a doctor who needs xp. Let me join your group and I'll keep you all alive free of charge" That is still the fastest way to get doc xp and that's how I intend to do it.

Just to show I'm not 100% totally a saint I'm using a craft macro to grind up the crafting tree. Got up to advanced doc crafting yesterday and will finish it out soon.

Only problem i have with macro tumblers is wen they are spamming for tips and the fact that they are tumbling.

If you want to do this with a friend knock yourself out...It wont effect my game play. In fact yeh i did it a bit to level and the burn pet and the sample radioactive...and even macor dueled someone and end dule heal re dule....the last one was funny as hell to watch :0)

If someone spammmms for tips to much i get annoyed and one guy had the spam on like a 20 second timmer. I felt i had no choice but to /ignore him and buff his secondaries. If you want to grind a profession go for it....Just dont make me have to deal with it.
