There are some posts on the thread that look like Docs can still self-buff. This is good, it would be insane for them to take that away from us.

If they took self-buffing off, I think they would see a startling number of "retired" MDs. 75% of the time my buffs get used on myself. If I couldn't do this, I would be working on obtaining Powerboost instead.

No.

There is a rebuffing bug, however. People are looking into it it... Some funnyness with buff used before publish, wearing off after publish and not letting people rebuff.

Please don't spead rumors.

I do not think that you can call asking a straightforward question 'spreading rumors'.

I am in work at the moment, unable to log into the game for at least a few more hours, and while looking at the forums I noticed a few threads over a number of boards all claiming that Doctors had attempted to buff themselves only to find out that it was not possible.

I asked in the Tempest forum if anyone had come across the same problem and the person who posted here was obviously as concerned as I was.

The DEV team implement many changes to the system that are not in the patch notes and some of these make no sense to anyone. It is not outside the realm of possibility that the ability for Doctor's to buff themselves would be removed. After all, can Entertainers buff themselves? No.

I am by no means a powergamer but I put a lot of thought into creating my characters - Raphael is not a holo grinder and in fact has never opened a holocron. If a change as major as this was implemented I would prefer to know now than find out after I log in this evening. At least I can vent for the next few hours and calm down enough to enjoy myself a little when I log in later.

I miss the good old days when you could ask a question on the forums and get a nice simple answer back - that was obviously before we were all supposed to be omnipotent and have our friends on the DEV team on speed-dial.
