Thread: Buffing system a Joke!!!

Well if this is what I can expect from doctor then I may aswell give it up now. I've been doctor for 2 weeks, not for a holo but because I actually wanted to do it, took me a month all in.

So I log in, call my 110 med droid, don my +25 BE clothing and check I've no battle fatigue, which I haven't.

Health and Action buff packs were made with the best res I could pull out of the ground and was using all adv components with reasonable if not good stats so I'm left with +853 power packs, not too bad!

First buff with health pack was 997, second buff with action pack was 1027

What the hell is all that about??? I'm sick and tired of this 'roll the dice' method of buffing, it simply doesnt make sense, all those good resources, all the time finding them and mining them, not to mention the cost and I end up with a buff that is a complete and utter waste of time. This system really needs looking at and changing before more doctors decide it isn't worth the effort and time and cost in credits.

I'm now looking for a new proffesion, not because of the one time bad buff but because of the uncertainty and randomness of these buffs. What did we (doctors) get from publish 6, a nice new buff box that tells u how long your buffs are to run and even that is bugged, you get slain and the buff box STILL tells you how long your buff has left and you dont even have a freekin buff anymore!!

Anyone else getting really frustrated with buffing?

You should try slicing. Its been random since day one. Not even a Master Smuggler can pick to slice items for speed or damage, and while a Master's potential max slice is a little higher than your mid level slicer, they can get many lame slices as well. It was so bad I stopped using my Smuggler skills and started up the medic/doctor tree. Looks like I've chosen the same aggravation in a different form. Ugggg!
