If I were to get buffed, would I have to still use amor, or would I be better off without it. I'm getting a bit tired of having to spend 300k + for amor. I don't like to take my amor to anyone for repairs, because, it gets damaged beyond repair. I'm hoping that I won't have to use amor anymore, except maybe for high level creatures or something like that.

Armor will always help keep you from getting beat up, regardless of whether or not you're buffed.

For most creatures in the game, being buffed is enough to allow you to take them down. However, for times when you're in an especially tough fight, buffs alone might not be enough - after all, there are creatures in this game that can damage you for well over 1000 points in a single hit - even with 3K HAMS, you won't last long taking damage like that.

Additionally, taking less damage means taking less wounds and building up less BF. That means you can spend more time fighting and less time healing yourself or having someone else heal you.

It's really your call and whether or not you need amor depends largely on your style of play. However, armor is still beneficial, whether you're buffed or not. If you need it or not is up to you. Try fighting some things without it and see how you so.
