If you don't want to buy all of your resources you can use 15 points to switch between artisan and scouting based on whether you want to go survey or harvest. That's what I do. Only costs 100 credits to switch and there's artisan and scout trainers in most cities.

hey everyone, just a quick quesiton and i wanna know what u guys think would be better. after i master doctor and master CM, i'm left with 18 skill pts. was wondering what u guys did with it for those that master both doc and CM. i was thinking about putting it into the marksman tree in either rifle 1-4 or marksman pistol 1-4. what would be better, rifles or pistols? and also what did u guys do with the 18 skill lefts left over. thanks.

I would suggest Scout and Hunting 1... obviously you don't need the Terrain Negotiation, but the ability to harvest along with whoever you are hunting with is useful and the ability to drop a tent is vital in this day and age with the vehicles storing themselves do to a bug.

The popular combat templates are:
Rifles 4/Carbine 1/Pistol 1
Rifles 1/Carbine 1/Pistols 4
Rifles 3/Pistols 3
If you feel you need artisan or scout, then get level 1 in a combat skill (for a weapons upgrade and for a decent special) and flip-flop between scout and artisan as required (artisan while placing harvesters, scout the rest of the time). n It only costs 100 credits to switch novice skills.
