Hello. I'm 1-3-3-2 in Doctor.

I'm making low level buffs paks for myself right now...also stim -c's for healing and -B's for wounds.

I'm not using the advance componants...but I'm thinking maybe I should start.

Would you mind telling me the best resources to use for what I'm doing?

I have a boat load of Dantooine Wild Meat...over 800 for both PE and Quality.

Whats the best of the rest that I need?

Thanks.

Use Advanced components when possible. I personally won't craft anything without advanced components. Requirements are clearly defined in the schematics, but since I'm feeling nice I'll post 'em based on memory (at work ).

Adv. BEC- Tatooinian Fiberplast/Lokian Wild Wheat
Adv. Liquid Suspension- Talusian Water Vapor/Dantooine Berry Fruit
Adv. CRDM- Herbivore Meat/Class IV Liquid Petro
Adv. Solid Delivery Shell- Dolovite Iron/Domesticated Oats

For your organic/inorganic/metal ingredients just use whatever resources you have available with the best stats in the fields indicated in the schematic (OQ, PE, etc).

Low_Ki is right on. Once you start using experimented advanced subcomponents, your med quality is really going to shine.

I'd also shoot for higher OQ and PE of your other material. 800 is nice, but keep your eye out for the 900-950-1000 spawns of Avian meat and other material for your advanced components.

And, if you don't have a factory, I'd get one. You can make a "perfect" schematic for each of your subcomponents, and make a run of crates so you have consistent material to work with.

Thanks for the responses...........

A factory huh? How does that work?

Buy a factory, plunk it down somewhere, and Bob's your uncle?

Sorry for the basic questions but I have never been involved in anything other than combat previously.

I appreciate your input.....and thank-ful that you're not making fun of me.....................yet

Factories are great, because they do the work for you and give a consistent product.

What you do is track down an Architect that can make you a Food and Chemical Factory. You place this structure like any other. It requires four basic things to operate:

-It needs to have maintenance paid on it, or it will begin to degrade like any other structure.

-Itrequires power when it is operating (if it is idle, it uses no power).

-You need a schematic for it to build your product off of.

- You need the resources in the input hopper of the factory. It will use these resources to build your stuff based on the schematic.

So, you have your factory placed, and the maintenance and power had been added. You make your product like you would normally, but instead of getting a prototype item, you build a schematic instead. You put that schematic in the factory, load it with the material it needs to build your items, and switch it on. You will get an e-mail message when your factory run is complete. If you make multiple items, it will even put them in a nice crate for you!

There are a bunch of tricks to using a factory, but the big thing is to start using one and learn the ins and outs. For example, you can make a 1000 unit schematic on something, but you can load the input hopper of the factory with only enough to make 50 units. You get the schematic back when the factory runs out of material, so you can make 950 more down the road when you reload that schematic.
