Thread: Care for the FAQ?

Well folks, it's been fun being a SWG doctor, but my time is nearly up as my membership ends on March 6th. I started this game as a doc and I'm ending it as a doc - it's easily my favorite profession.
However, with my absence, I won't be able to update the FAQ with new information. I can certainly leave it where it is for now but, as the game changes, the FAQ may become out of date and inaccurate. If anyone would like to host and care for the FAQ, I can certainly get you the files that compose it - not that you couldn't do the same by going there and doing a "View Source."
I guess I'd just like to know that someone is going to take control of it. If no one wants to, I'll simply leave it where it is and you can use it as you see fit. Just know that there won't be any future updates to it.
Thanks everyone for making this a fun game. Doctors really are the best people in the game.

I know you'll be back someday.
I'll work on transferring it over tomorrow, and post a new URL for it in the FAQ section, unless someone else would rather do it.

www.iootnega.com would be glad to host it. I already have the Combat Medic FAQ, the Medic FAQ, and the Resource filtering page.

Thanks, bud. I noticed that there is a small amount of garbage thrown onto the bottom of the source if you do a "View Source" so, if you'd rather have the original files, I can send them to you. Just send me a PM with your email address.
Hopefully, my HTML isn't too bad that you can't read it.

Looks great to me! Thanks so much for taking that over. I'll change the current FAQ to redirect folks to the new address.

Thanks for taking this over Agent001. I know it sounds cheesy, but it's nice to know someone will continue this work with me gone. In addition, I love some of the improvements you've made - I see that the FAQ is in great hands.
I have updated my FAQ page to explain to folks that it has moved and that they should update any bookmarks that they may have. I'll leave it that way for some time to make sure no one gets lost in the mix.
I also updated the sticky post at the top of the forum to reference your site now, instead of mine. Of course, it still has my name on it... Perhaps you can post a new Doctor FAQ post and get Z or T to sticky it for you and unstick the existing one.

The CSRs have been looting the FAQs to make the ingame searchable knowledgebase better.
"What knowledgebase?" you may ask.
It is in the holocron, same page as submitting a CSR ticket. You can search for stuff like
"How do I buff?"
"What is battle Fatigue" etc.
In the box marked "string"
We are in the process of getting it really detailed and useful...then the devs will put it someplace where players can actuallyy find and use it. it is to hard to find right now.
I'll resticky anything you want. Just send me a PM with the URL in it.
