But I am kind to animals

Anyway......I have been playing SWG for about 3 months now, and the first profession I mastered was Doc. In almost any game where there's a healer needed, I tend to go with that profession. I didn't do it for money, hologrind, because a guild needed one, or some other reason....I just wanted to be a doc. And with the doc profession comes the responsebillity to make/give good buffs. I am in a guild, but not one that dedicates its time to procure resources for the resident doc. So I am pretty much left on my own to gather up resources for those buffs. During the course of these past 3 months I feel pretty confident that I have gathered, what can widely be regarded, as good resources. My stumbling point however is always the avian meat. Every once in a while I am able to get a good bunch of OQ>900, which I believe is the "mark of excellence". However....I have NEVER made a buff with a basevalue of over 900. I think the best I have ever made is 860 or something of that nature. Usually its around 800 or a little below that. Ofcourse, the action buffs are a bit higher and very close to 900 because I can use some qualityresources that don't have to be avian (dang! I hate that avian meat). With the latest avian spawn (I think its about 920 or something, Corelia, Bloodfin) I have been able to research it to the max, and STILL end up with a base of only 782 for a stamina buff. I use adv chem releases of about 57 and a adv solid delivery shells of about 66. I can't quite remember the stats on my adv bio effect controllers but I have found that it doesnt matter much if I put my research into power or uses. I get a lot more uses if I put my research into that, but the power ends up to be pretty much the same ( I usually get around 30 uses). And when I make some med use 90's I obviously hit a value a bit lower, since I have to use that extra (or sometimes 2) experimentation point to lower the use. I am still wondering how people are talking about 11 and 12 experimentation points. I only have 10. How do I get more?

So...should I just shrug in resignation and deal with the fact that I just suck at this. Or....can something be done? I would be realy interested in hearing from those guys who are making 900+ buffs. And apparently with such ease that I am sitting here feeling like a complete inept idiot.

Help me obi wan kenobi....you're my only hope!

In other words; hints and suggestions are most welcome.

Get skilltapes. They are on play vendors and on the Bloodfin trade board. The price is from 100k - 2000k a point. You will need 10 points to get one more experimentation point. 20 to get your cap of 12 experimentation points.

the tapes are very expensive but if you got money they are worth it. I love them hehe took me about 2 months to win all the right auctions and hunt vendors (camped some but thats way to boring...i can make the money faster to buy them at 500k per point in the time it would take me to camp for the ones i want). But if i had camped id probably be able to sell a lot of tapes i dident need for money. id rather have fun though. Over all the tapes only add a few uses to your meds so unless you just have to have them dont worry about it. You can still make some sweet meds with the 10. 900+ buffs and all.

dude.. your buffs aren't that bad.. and anyways.. 1 or 2 skill points probably wouldn't go into the final heal power for experimentation purposes.... Its bloodfin.. and most buffs that were "uber" were made with extinct kiseasado reactive gas and probably ikro avian meat... 850 is a good buff pack for Bloodfin... anything behind that is pure sugar.

Well i m a pretty new doc myself, but i have noticed that using a 40+ crafting stationd does actually help some, and a 14+ crafting tool, and being in a player city that is a "research center" helps a lil too. Of course that is assuming everyting is actually working like its supposed too, but i can dream can't i?
