Thread: i should know this but, avain meat :)

when working out thebest overall quality for avain is it 0.5*OQ + 0.5*PE or 0.66*OQ + 0.33*PE. I had been using the .66*OQ+ .33*PE but have since been told i should be using .5 for both

well, the 0.5*OQ + 0.5*PE is the right one (that is because reactive gas is missing PE), however it is only half of the truth.
the damage resistance plays a serious role when crafting enhance packs because there are two different experimentational properties (power and duration) put together in one experimentation line (effectiveness) that rely on different resource attributes (power being 66%OQ 33%PE and duration is 60%DR 40%OQ)
scoring high in power but low in duration will adversely affect the power of the finished enhance pack.
it is not easy to calculate the true value of avian meat, you can only compare different types avian meat if you already have selected your reactive gas (you should also try to get reactive gas with high DR along with high OQ)
the 0.5*OQ + 0.5*PE formula is correct if the following inequality holds true:
9*DR(gas) -4*OQ(gas) >= 4*OQ(meat) +10*PE(meat) -9*DR(meat)
if this criteria is not fulfilled, then you will not be able to get the full value of your avian meat because of your low score in the duration (ie you do not have enough OQ/DR on your resources)
