I've remade my char and I'mgoing for carbineer with doc for self buffing, this only leaves me 18 points for other skills so I'm thinking about going 0440 doc to save 29 points and a crafting grind. If I get some well made buff packs what sort of enhances can I expect with this? I have some +25 wound treatment clothing which should help a bit.

I did some buffing at 4441 with some 837-840 packs and got buffs between 700 and 2500 with only 90 medicine use. Im sure with some 900+ power buffs and clothing/food you could do between 1000-3300ish easily.

I started buffing at 2442 with +136 wound treatment from clothing (yes,I know it caps at +125), and I seemed to hit about the same as master doctors I had been buffed by. Low so far has been 1050 or so, with a high of 3300. This is with 900-925 packs.

i've been buffing at 0-4-4-0 for a while now, with med clothes, bivoli enhancement and a +110 droid. here's what i've noticed thus far (as i was a master doc earlier). with master, i was consistently in the mid 2k's to 3's. rarely, i would have a buff in the teens, but even then it was still 1800 or so. after dropping skills...now i'm usually around 1800 to 2400...with the occasional buff closer to 3k, but more often now will drop a 1200 buff, and sometime below 1k
the only thing i can suggest is to absolutely make sure you have no b/f, and they often not too bad

There is a nice buff calculator in another thread for post patch buffing.
For me:
0/4/4/0
med droid 110
buff packs 865
food 25
BE clothes 25
My average would be 2226

can you use top end buff packs at 0440 or are you restricted?
(how many medical useskill points have you got at 0440, and is it enough)
