Why is it that whenever you are in Dathomore, Bria, and you are buffing, you are the only one buffing. then another dr will walk up and privately tell everyone on your waiting list that they will do it cheaper and steal everyone of your clients. all they ahve to do is go to the other side of the city and yell out their price, and I would either 1- have to adjust my price accordingly, or 2 duel them, but funny thing is, doctors wont duel you.... isnt that right Enzo?

I'd have to say that you too don't have much respect if you feel the need to duel every Doctor that comes along and undercuts your prices. If a Doc is undercutting you, perhaps your prices are too high for your server?

an insult is an insult and i duel anyone who inuslts me, and as for pricing. i charge what people are willing to pay for good buffs, specially when the rest of bria has dr's resources on a lock down and anything with a 900 resource quality is attempted to being sold at 50cpu. so far the only thing ive been willing to pay that much for is the avian meat, and never again. i dont understand how dr's dont bring the price of buffs up even though the people in the server keep raising the price of resources, saw 967 reactive gas going for 60cpu.... made me sick. i dont think 12k or even 13k is unreasonable. and the going rate is 10k, which i normally buff at unless im using my 890 buff packs.

just make good buffs, you want the customers who come to you for your quality and personality

I remember back when I was a Master Doc, players would argue over pricing. I would tell them to find another Doc willing to go broke to enhance their stats. This was back when the average price on Kauri was 5-6k and I charged 10k. I still made hand over fist. Some players even paid up to 14-20k for buffs.
Buffs are worth whatever the customer is willing to pay. If they aren't willing to pay for the buffs then ignore them. There will always be another person looking to pay.

The original poster does have a point. /yell your prices is competition, /tell to your customers is a little underhanded. If you sit near me and /yell a lower price, then I have the ability to undercut you if I want. To use /tell to offer a better price, I just see customers leaving and have not opportunity to compete with this person.

ive never noticed a lack of demand for buffs. ive always charged 10k. until recently i never saw any other docs charge more than 6k. i rarely ever buff for pay anymore but when i do, i always have customers. last night i was in coronet selling brandy. had my tag turned off and my droid packed away. a friend of mine saw me and asked me to buff him. i pulled out my droid and proceeded to buff. before i had finished buffing him there was a line of 5-6 people just standing behind him. no tells or anything. just sheep standing behind my friend. as soon as i finished with him, the guy right behind him sits down in front of me. lol. i said nothing and put away my droid thinking that without my tag they would think i was just getting stuff out of storage or something. the guy sitting in front of me says: "how much?". i replied: "200kper crate of BE enhanced. +407/35minutes/50filling/18uses". the guy says : "no. how much for buffs?" lol. everyone else was charging 6k mind you. i said "10k full buff" (i should of said that in a tell since i really had no intentions of setting up shop). i notice that i have new mail. i open up my mailbox and see that not only did he pay the 10k but the girl right behind him and the guy behind her paid as well. so now im commited to buffing 3 people at the very least. the 4th guy in line sends me a tell "10k? thats too much. everyone else is buffing for 6k". i responded: "i really had no intentions of buffing for pay tonight anyways. might want to try one of the other docs." his reply: "oh well. there lines are too long. ill pay 10k". *new mail*. lol. this went on for a good 30-45 minutes before i finally had to just put my droid away and announce to the growing line that i was out of buff packs. the herd groaned a little before grazing their way to the next line. it just amazes me. and with no more crap rolls it should be even easier to charge higher prices without much complaint. at the time this happened last night, there were 3 other doctors who had already set up shop. each of them had their own herd grazing beside them. each herd at least 10 head strong. lol

lol nice. well im not master yet. but close and i have been having peeps asking for buff since i mastered medic couple weeks ago. even had guys willing to take buff A's so i buffed them for free and just about every last one tipped me anyway. there are alot of peeps who whine about how well you buff or your price but personaly i think its just that they want to have something to whine about. most peeps who use the master buffs do so religously and have become dependant on them like a drug. i saw a guy the other night on dath that was offering 20k to anyone who could buff him. just so happened i was out of stuff for buff' b's and there was no other doc at the moment. lol thats my normal luck though. lol. but peeps do understand that what we do is important and will pay for your time, resources and willingness to help them acceive there goal. so weather its 6k or 15k peeps will pay what they think its worth to them. i have bought 6k buff and 15k buffs. just depends on what i needed and how soon.
